Yes Alex if only the markets in West Brom were as good. Putting that aside, Bilston Markets have always set the gold standard for markets both indoor and out

I remember the talking weight machines, I remember that there used to be one in my old chemist and a rather large woman got on and it said, one at a time please, will the rest of you get off 😂😂. I think that there were a few complaints about it and it disappeared. Thanks Phil for your video, and have a good Christmas 🎄 👍.
Thanks for that Phil. I haven’t been to the markets in an age, so it was good to see what is happening. Bilston has always had a good name for shopping and it is good to see that there are plenty of shoppers. Great that money is being put into the area. Some positivity for a change, when so many towns are not thriving. Just spotted a wool shop, I shall be paying a visit. Merry Christmas Phil.😊
Hi Phil enjoyed the walk around Bilston Market my wife comes from Bilston our favourite pubs was the Greyhound the Trumpet and at the end of the Town by the Town Hall was the white Rose it's a shame the Greyhounds gone it was a loverly old pub all the best Paul
The landlord of the Greyhound said In February that he would get the pub up and running within months but sadly walking past I dont really see much sign of this happening
Never been there, but watching the vlog, it appears Bilston is cleaner, has more variety, and more patronised by the locals than West brom and seems a bit friendlier too
I live in West Bromwich and never shop on the market there. Much prefer Bilston and always feel safer there. Got to be the best 'old fashioned market' around. Thanks for the video Phil, keep up the good work. Merry Christmas to you and your family and a Happy New Year x
@@PatDawes Merry Christmas Pat. Bilston far and away a better market experience compared to West Brom. My next video will show a bit more of how untidy the stalls are in WB Thanks for all your support
You can still see CJ that Bilston markets havnt really changed much at all. All the market stalls look clean and tidy in contrast to the video ive just filmed featuring some of west broms disgraceful looking stalls
The empty building opposite Dixon's butchers is proposed to be a 24 hour casino. The baker's in the market way is another extension of Matt's the bakers from inside the market.

Great to see a market town buzzing. And look how clean the shop windows and market stalls are. People in Bilston clearly take pride in their town.

Thanks Val, I was sorely tempted to buy some but the queues were a little too long at the time.

I used to love shopping at Bilston Market, both before and after my brain haemorrhage. Very disabled friendly, and friendly townspeople as well.
You can still see CJ that Bilston markets havnt really changed much at all. All the market stalls look clean and tidy in contrast to the video ive just filmed featuring some of west broms disgraceful looking stalls
@awalkwithphil Quite true sadly. Bilston had a better market than West Bromwich 's since at least the Millennium.
The empty building opposite Dixon's butchers is proposed to be a 24 hour casino.
