Wow, thank you for such kind words! We really enjoyed our time on the Erie and the Hudson; it's been fun to share the journey. Thanks for watching! 😊⛵🐈
So, it looks like you are at Cumberland Island. I hope it lives up to the hype we gave it. Well done you four! Fair Winds. And give our greetings to Jacksonville as you cruise through there. We do have good friends in Ponte Vedra Beach in case you run into any snags on that stretch. Love from Peter and Mary
Peter Pierson Thank you, Peter and Mary! We are in St. Augustine right now and really enjoying it. We are particularly reveling in the warmer weather :)
When I saw you fixing that hatch, I said to myself, "self, that repair just won't do it" I've learned my lesson with our boat, 3M 5200 to seal, MarineTex repair putty for emergency fiberglass repair. SAIL happy 😂⛵️⛵️⛵️🇱🇷
How about a tour of the boat now that you’re living on it full time? I’d like to see what use you’ve made of the two spare berths as well as the headroom from the cockpit to the saloon. I went on a PDQ32 and there is zero headroom in the saloon, you either walk down the steps to the hulls, or you immediately sit in the settees. I’d like to see how the Gemini compares.
Josef Roesler Hm, interesting! We also considered a PDQ but never actually got a chance to see the boat in person. We'll incorporate a more updated boat tour, including things that we really like about the Gemini. Be prepared for a slightly messy cabin..... :/
Love watching your progress south! We are anchored in Oriental, NC and love it here (while we wait for motor parts to arrive). We should meet up when you get down this way.
Rigging Doctor I can't believe we missed this comment!! And we were in Oriental too, grrr! Our locations are getting closer though, this meeting is definitely going to happen!! ⛵☺
Your videos are by far the best that I have seen for traveling the Erie Canal and the Hudson River. Thanks you.

That bridge was very scary and the buzzer as the bridge was closing was as well. You had the best Atlantic City Anchorage.
Bon voyage!
Nice job threading the needle with the bridge ! Off to get some ice cream too, safe travels.
Len Troost Thanks! I think our blood pressure went up for that bridge opening lol.

You guys made a good transit up the Delaware Bay! Most guys I know who sail the Chesapeake Bay will not or can not sail the Delaware Bay!
Patrick Wentz We had a beautiful sail up the bay. One of our most memorable and enjoyable sails ever! ⛵☺
Thanks.........enjoyed that as well
Thanks William, we're glad you're enjoying them 🐱⛵
In New Jersey the shore shuts down around the second week in September
Good to know, thanks for sharing! 😊

My boat made it on the internet, all decorated for the halloween party. I just started watching. Great videos!
Haha how fun!! Thanks for your kind words and for watching ☺⛵🐈

Great video! GOD bless. JC
JCAJCA3 Thank you very much!
Great episode!
How is the onboard cooking going? Haven't seen it yet ;)
khendron That's so funny you ask - I totally meant to record a video of our last shrimp boil but completely forgot. Next time!!
We get pretty nervous with only 2 feet under the keel. Some of those boats may have shoal keels which helps in shallow water.
Life at Six Knots We have been so thankful for our shallow draft while traveling the ICW. It has saved us multiple times already.
Your hatch could do with some sikaflex for making it water tight.
Yes indeed. You're not the first person to suggest that; clearly we need to invest in some Sikaflex. Thanks for the suggestion and for watching ☺🐈⛵
How is poor Hercie now?
Nancy Lam Much better. We managed to head it off with a lot of water, apple cider vinegar, canned food and prescription food. He's recovered 100%.
