More people need to talk about triathlon toiletting! I have only done sprints so not an issue yet (though I have about a zillion safety toilet visits before!) but I have read of others doing the same on the bike, and if it’s raining….
I can't thank you enough for this video! I'm heading to Lahti for the 70.3 WC next week and it is so comforting to have a preview of the area and race! You handled the bike fiasco so well! Congratulations and good luck on your next race!

I was very shocked haha! But yes stress and pressure seems to work for me 😂 although, I hoping not to repeat that bike drama ever again!!
The mind was clearly over loaded when you got to the race belt. Just loosen the toggles in front of the number they're not usually tight against the belt. Talk about a stressful lead in to a race 🙈 but what a fantastic result. That bike/run was brilliant 💪💪

Lost my bike in transit in Singapore airport, going to Ironman Western Australia. Delivered to me by taxi the next day, but with a bent rear derailleur hanger. Had to bike 34km using only gear to the nearest bikeshop.
Oh god what a nightmare!!! The stress we go through haha
Somes pals of mine had 2 bikes lost and had to do a full ironman on borrowed bikes. I feel your stress.

do you pack your bike pump in your bike box or use gas cylinders. Well done btw
I take both. You're not allowed to pack cylinders in your bike box, they need to be in hand luggage
Is it the same course which 70.3 world champion is going to be happen.
I've heard it's slightly different, but I imagine it will be very similar in terms of road surface and gradient. It's pretty flat around there!
Can you please tell me what watch you're using.
I was using the Forerunner 935 and more recently have started using the Fenix 7s sapphire solar
