Taping ribs so they won't come out of his spine? I think that's more exaggerated than anything else. But why such an extreme to get to lift weights point for no money back around 2002 (assuming 20 yrs ago when Chuck was on top)

I remember Dave Hoff mentioning about Chuck taking part in these "iron man" fights. The footage of the fights are actually stored on VHS tapes located at Westside Barbell, he was described to be extremely dominant in the cage to the point where some of his opponents refused to fight him. It would be a sight to see some of the footage.

Juji, I’m about as tall as Brian Shaw, do you have any advice for proper form with squats? It seems I can never find a comfortable foot position which allows me to get lower.
Not Juji, but I'm a good bit taller than him. For me, I have to stick my toes way out to the sides in order to hit any semblance of depth. Grab on to something and squat as deep as you can, then hold it for a minute. Do that every day so it becomes a position you're comfortable and balanced in.
Hey can someone give me advice, I lifted from age 15-30 using gear, then I got clean and I kept getting bulging discs (yeah I had good forum), my squat and deadlift suffered, now I'm 38 and I get bulging discs every time I squat even with 135#. So I'm curious, am I broken? Or do I just need to strengthen my lower back more?

It’s basically a 45 minute EMOM. I don’t think I would last.
