    We always hype players up by saying they put up "videogame numbers", but Bonds was so good what he did cannot be replicated in a videogame. The simulations run produce the most logical and realistic outcomes they can calculate, but Bonds is such an anomaly I genuinely don't think any videogame could give a player his numbers no matter how good your RNG is.

    My main issue with MLB The Show is the regression system. I feel like good players start regressing too early and too fast. For example, last year I signed Mookie to a 10 year max deal in one of my franchises and barely halfway through it, he went from a 99 to a low 80’s player. That’s ridiculous in my opinion. Players like that shouldn’t regress until later in their careers in my opinion. Idk. Maybe I’m looking into it too much

      @richardtherichard26 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      And bonds obvious steroid use in his later years just goes to show you how unbreakable the *actual* record of 755 is. Sad that Pete won’t be allowed in the hall in his lifetime but I have no sympathy for bonds. Dude was already a Hofer wo the help. Now we all just resent him for dethroning a legend like hank when he really didn’t deserve too.

      If anything this proves how vital steroids were for him to have “the record” and be productive that long. IMO his “record” is bogus and is a slap in the face to real legends

    Bonds record should be legit. Pitchers at the time were also taking roids. Fair playing field.

    If Trout and Stanton weren’t so injury prone irl they could come close

    You should've had him play DH so he can't get injured on defense. Or have will play for Colorado

    Barry Bonds was a several times over MVP before he knew what a steroid was. Go back to Aaron’s day...they were crushing speed back then. Every generation does something.
