really weird how mlb ts controls player progression/regression based on service time and not age. franco was a higher overall later into his career than kolby jax because he was called up to the majors at an older age
A reverse split 99 overall but you keep bumping his stats to 99. Ex righty contact 99 , lefty 0 , righty power 99, lefty power 0. 99s everywhere else (no bunts) but you don’t touch the speed or fielding.
whoever designs franchise should seriously be fired honestly its pathetic how bad the mode is compared to everything else
They just need to change the degradation of stats to be based on age instead of service time, and make the curve sharper but start later. Start around 34/35 and make their stats end up at around the same place for 40-42. As it is now, you end up at like 40 overall but Start to drop in your 20s.
Kolby Jax is now part of the Athletics’ coaching staff as assistant hitting coach. Juicing up them young bucks to hit 50 hrs a year, resurrecting and bringing back the steroid era in modern time

Yo Ant, there are multiple versions of WAR, most notably fWAR (from FanGraphs) and bWAR (from Baseball Reference). Personally, for hitters, I value bWAR more highly, but it is up for debate.

One time I had a player finish with a 13.0 war. He wasn’t even in the top 5 of mvps cause he didn’t have the most rbis but he led the league in steals in hrs lol

Anyone notice 10 to 15 years into a career you have odd players like a 32 yrs old rookie win the cy young award lead the league in k's and era then the next season the guys either gone from the game or overall drops drastically and they're in the minors again. This has happened multiple times lost a lot of potential awards due to these type of computer created players 10 plus years into road to the show. I've seen as old as 35 year old rookie dominate the league for a season then isnt on any team the next season.
