I was an instant fan after seeing him support Eric Clapton as the National Boxing Stadium in the mid 1970s, which is almost half a century ago, where the @#%$ does the time go? I have devoted a huge amount of my leisure time ever since to emulate his technique on guitar and in singing. I have never got close but I have had a lot of fun trying and developed a style of my own along the way 😁😅😍
I would love for you to come to the Mississippi area I'm very close to Memphis, TN. Or maybe you could visit Nashville. I would drive there... and they go bonkers if you came over. We have nothing but a touch for your music.

Have seen Freddie a few times in Maynooth College and recently in the TLT in Drogheda. Have loved the music he introduced me to from Randy, Guy, Zappa and indeed Tom Waits. I've only recently added the Gypsy Moth to my repertoire and would never have known such lovely songs if it wasn't for him.
