My God... It's... it's...a tiny Rolls-Royce Crecy! Ok, without the sleeve valves, but the spirit of that totally bonkers 2-stroke petrol V12 aero engine lives on in your gorgeous creation. How on Earth can anyone not love the sound this makes? No prototypes of the Crecy survive. No recordings exist of the sound it made, but it was said to have set off air raid sirens 15 miles away. You appear to have given an unexpected gift to we who are engine geeks: A way through Time into the RR testing bays to hear the voice of a lost machine. The low rpm sounds are really nice, heavy V12 Aero things, but then just changes into...this mighty wail. What an engine you've made. It has a worthy character of it's own, and I think it makes very beautiful sounds.
Magnifique , comment as tu conçu l'ensemble distribution , elle n'est pas côté hélice apparemment ? Encore bravo V12...si petit , en l'air il va avoir le timbre de Voix du Merlin ...En moins grave !
I was expecting an outboard motor like sound (V-6 outboards etc) but the resonant warble in the exhaust overall does bring on a 4 stroke sound @ part of the rev range. It may be a result of the disharmony of noise from the propeller and exhaust also. From Barrington Hare's exquisite scale working model to the Quarter scale Merlin companies version with belt driven 2xOHV and dummy blower, they all don't quite achieve a good scale sound. It's just physically impossible with tiny igniting mixtures and relatively high power density to make any of them run smooth below F1 like RPM's. Still can't see how you get even mixtures in each of the v-twin pairs, or maybe that is a trick to get the warble in the overal sound, sort of similar to why Harley Davidson engines sound so different to every other V-twin owing to the single carby delivering differential fuel mixtures from the uneven intake pulses.
1:45 Amazing how similar the sound of the water pump starting sounds just like birds chirping. 🙂🇦🇺
I can interpret the bird's chirping. They where yelling "Put your ear muffs on!!".🤔

Can't wait to see one in a mustang !
Fantastic 😳
What an BEAUTIFUL Engine 🥰👍
Very impressive! 😮
It even sounds like a Merlin. Wow.
Wow, how cool - sure enjoyed seeing this, thanks buddy...

Absolutely extraordinary!11
Congratulations on an amazing engine…
My thinks, I may need to chat about acquiring one!
amazing motor
That sick
That's impressive

Sounds so macho for a small engine. Can you tell us some stuff for the ptrol heads. Like weight and internal layout?
WOW!
Beautiful! Why buy an engine that probably cost double the airplane kit.
If you can afford it, why not?
Spectacular at night?
