No, I'm not going to include all manner of gratuitous stuff deliberately - but there will be mayhem and murder disturbingly described. A wise man once said to me "I'm a game master, not a therapist". I feel this applies to this day. As for the safety tools thing, I've made it clear I don't allow them at my table because I choose to respect the fact that my players are adults. Even if the "tools" are never used, I do not appreciate the presence of a sword of damocles reading my intentions in the worst possible light.
But I've gone over this already. Many times.

Interestingly, my initial comment disappeared so I wonder if it was vanished by the AI as it was quite acerbic and featured the use of the word "cunt".
In short - he clearly didn't understand the nuances of your video, cherry-picked that article in order to misrepresent you to his audience, and then goes on to encourage dogpiling in lieu of reasoned discourse......adults talking, to directly quote him?
    What a Rodney.
    Edit:
Having read through his comment secion......his audience is nothing but an echo chamber who clearly lack any degree of second-order thinking, or critical analysis. What is it about the wokescalds and their ilk that seemingly rewards a complete lack of willingness to examine any given source and take an activist at face value, no matter his stance regarding channel takedowns and strikes?
It's almost as if their desire to be viewed as inclusive and "right on" precludes any degree of self-examination, and they cannot see the hypocrisy of abusing systems that are in place to prevent those actions whilst at the same time championing safety tools....

Social Contracts & Safety Tools are made irrelevant if you simply sit down with your group and have a little chat with them about it all at session Zero. Normally this type of thing is not needed as most gaming groups usually know one another quite well. I suppose a case could be made for newer gaming groups using some of these things, but to me its something I will not use. Usually I warn my players of any mature or adult themes well in advance so they know exactly what some of these things are going into it. If they don't want to endure any of those things, I give them the opportunity to mention it there and then, & I also allow them the fade to black option at a later time if it occurs at one of those unplanned moments that sometimes happens.

Adults, having a conversation, concerning a game they will be playing - a common sense approach?! ;-)

I refuse to have "safety tools" at my table because I only play with adults. If one of my players has an issue I want them to talk to me as adults. If you have something awkward then talk to me. I will not change/pause the game because one person finds issue with it (obviously as an adult myself who respects my players I'm going to have something egregious like murdering minors or violent rape in a typical D&D adventure, if such things may occur it would be covered in a session 0).

I do see a potential for lines to be crossed - oh thats way more graphic than I was expecting, erm... And those things may not get covered well in a session zero for one reason or another, for example a scenario may be planned with no violence or combat and the players decide they want to go in all guns blazing anyway. Or one player decides to torture an NPC. Or a misunderstanding happens - "you only killed my character because I told you he was gay" or whatever.
That said I dont see safety tools at least as they exist now as bringing anything useful to the table.

Innovation from the 70's, 80's, 90's and 2000's would never have happened with 'safety tools' (Not rpg's only). Safety Tools offer a level of relevancy to those wielding it's 'power'. There are other ways to achieve the 'importance' in innovation they seek, with censorship being the least of them. Much like every 'latest and greatest' edition of D&D, more rules means less & less imagination with each new release. It's a hard lesson for some to learn. See also WOTC as of late.

Huh, guess down the road I will get cancelled too… I don’t think “safety tools” are conducive towards a healthy role playing game, they weren’t need when I was a kid in the 70s or for like the past 50ish years, I encourage people using words and not useless therapy tools, I understand discussing their use and how other people use them (I did a video on them too but it is humorous), they just aren’t needed in my opinion… simply because someone introduced it, and it’s new doesn’t inherently mean it’s better, an evolutionary improvement of games, or actually useful. Drama Queens won’t use safety tools anyway, they will be too triggered and traumatised to lay the card down, and instead will suffer silently then go out to the community and cry fake crocodile tears and slander everyone playing that night to be a fake victim… so they get their positive reward of people paying attention to them, feeling pity for them, feeling they need to be helped, defended, or championed… it’s sick twisted behaviour and I refuse to be manipulated, bullied, encourage or enable this psychologically unhealthy behaviour.
As to censorship or lack there of, any content rules start with the GMs rules and in the pre game chats concerning the type of game content that is ok. It is the GMs responsibility to grow a set and talk to their players, enforce any rules including what content is allowed for that game session. It is irresponsible for a GM to advocate their responsibilities to players who might not stop a game despite the out of line or poor behaviour of an individual player. I would like to point out the obvious: the same GM that runs an X rated game might also run a G rated game with completely different expectations for what is appropriate as far as player language, behaviour and PC actions because of vast differences in the folks playing.
