    2. WFLD Special Presentation Bumper
    3. "White Christmas" Intro (A classic movie that's always fun to watch around this time of year)
    4. "White Christmas" Commercial Bumper (Brought to you by Pillsbury and Underalls, Slenderalls and Coloralls)
    5. Pillsbury Best Cookie Dough
    6. Underalls, Slenderalls and Coloralls
    7. Citrus Hill Plus Calcium (Or...just take a calcium supplement)
    8. Lipton Recipe Soup Mix
    9. "White Christmas" Commercial Bumper
    10. WFLD "Broadcast News" Preview Contest
    11. Elizabeth Taylor's Passion
    12. Citibank MasterCard
    13. Dominick's
    14. Phar-Mor
    15. General Foods Shortcuts Intro
    16. Jell-O Deluxe Chocolate Collection
    17. General Foods Shortcuts
    18. Bounce
    19. Green Giant Pasta Accents (7:04 Don't openly criticize the giant, Sprout. He'll crush you like a bug!)
    20. WFLD Fox 32 Update
    21. Las Vegas Tourism (One of the more 80's things that I've posted of late)
    22. Mistletoe Bear at Marshall Fields Department Store
    23. TV Spot for "Three Men And A Baby" (Besides that whole cardboard cutout of Ted Danson being mistaken for a ghost thing...the weirdest thing about this movie to me is that it was directed by Leonard Nimoy)
    24. Tums (What is with all of the calcium talk in this block?)
    25. Pepperidge Farm Pizza
    26. Kodak VR 35 Camera
    27. Totino's Temptin' Toppings Pizza
    28. Milk
    29. Milk
    30. Promo for "The Wilton North Report" (This was Fox's replacement for "The Late Show" and premiered on 12/11/87. It was off the air by early January. Gee, I wonder why this show didn't take off?)
    31. Charmin Free
    32. Kmart
    33. Halls
    34. Clorets
    35. AT&T

    42. Marshalls
    43. Pillsbury All Ready Pie Crusts
    44. Trident
    45. Underalls, Slenderalls and Coloralls
    46. Tums
    47. WFLD Fox 32 Update
    48. Goldie Shoes at Woodfield (Tone down the acting a bit, lady)
    49. O'Gradys Au Gratin Potato Chips
    50. Taco Bell
    51. Dominick's (20:52 Just put a bow on a bunch of bananas for that one relative you completely forgot about)
    52. Carnival Cruises (With Kathie Lee Gifford)
    53. Crispy Critters Cereal
    54. Era Plus
    55. Campbell's Home Cookin' Soup (With Barbara Bel Geddes)
    56. Certs
    57. Anusol
    58. Ponderosa (Oh boy, "Leonard Part 6". Even before all of Bill Cosby's past came to light this was seen as a blight on cinema and is often regarded as one of the worst movies of all time. Even Cosby himself disowned it in the weeks leading up to its release, blaming the director...even though he wrote and produced it and had complete control)
    59. Chicago Tribune (Why couldn't "Cheers" have been about a bunch of old curmudgeonly newspaper men arguing over the punctuation in their stories?)
    60. Carson's (A department store chain based in Chicago. It currently only exists as a website that is "coming soon". Also the main actress here might be Finola Hughes)
    61. Pillsbury Soft Breadsticks
    62. General Foods International Coffees Dutch Chocolate Mint
    63. Promo for "Mr President", "Women In Prison", "The Adventures Of Beans Baxter" and "Second Chance" (That's a young Matthew Perry on the left, this was his first sitcom)
    64. Dominick's
    65. Woolworth
    66. "White Christmas" Commercial Bumper (Brought to you by General Foods International Coffees and Pillsbury)
    67. "White Christmas" Commercial Bumper

I remember my dad and I went to see Three Men and a Baby the day after Thanksgiving, but it was sold out. We wanted to see a movie, and the only other family oriented film playing was the re-release of Disney's Cinderella. My dad wasn't into cartoons, and 10-year-old me didn't want to see a "girl's movie". That's when my dad hit on an idea. He knew that I wanted to see the latest John Hughes movie, Planes, Trains & Automobiles, but my mom had forbidden it, because it was rated-R. We were there at the theater, looking at the poster for Planes..., and my dad said, "I won't tell her if you won't". It was my first time seeing an R-rated film at the theater, and my dad and I both absolutely loved it. Of course, when we got home, I could not keep it a secret, but I did not get into too much trouble, though I remember my older brothers were upset, since they wanted to see it also, and had also been forbidden.

Man, there have been flop movies that had restaurant promotions before, but nothing can compare to Ponderosa promoting Leonard Part 6. That's like a Battlefield Earth Happy Meal.

Back in the days when the worst thing that one could say about Bill Cosby was that he had a terrible track record of picking movies (and frankly, Leonard Part 6 sounds like everyone knew that was going to be a clunker)

My sister was born 6 days before these commercials aired. The Chicago Tribune commercial reminded me that is my dad's favorite newspaper, and even though he doesn't live in Chicago anymore, he still reads it every single day. Mike Royko was his favorite columnist.

LOL Leonard Part 6! I had no idea there was any tie-ins to the movie at least on the national scale but Ponderosa had one!

Pilsbury Best Cookie Dough- Nothing like freshly baked cookies to bribe kids from running away from home.
Phar-Mor- I have fond memories of going to this store as a kid. I remember the one that I went to had a huge wall display of Bulk Candy Bins and I would always buy handfuls of candy from there.
General Foods Shortcuts- This egg dish looks tasty, but it looks like it was something this lady quickly improvised when she realized she had company coming over for dinner.
Green Giant Pasta Accents- I wonder where pasta comes from in the Valley Of The Jolly Green Giant if they only grow vegetables there.

Fox32 WFLD Chicago. Yep, 1987 is when the Fox Network first came on the air and was carried by local UHF stations, like WTXF29 in Philadelphia.

Wow, I didn't expect to bump into a sitcom with Matthew Perry and Billy Gallo. Now I'm tempted to see it, but I'm not sure if it only lasting a single season means I'm in for a disaster or an underrated gem.
