Hi, I watched floor installers handle a similar situation at our house and they had a tool that shaved the door jam bottom off so that the flooring could go under it further. It looked amazing when they were done.
My husband is a flooring installer. Every kind you can think of. If you use an undercut saw at the base, you remove a thin piece so the board will slide under.
Shelly we thought you looked beautiful, you always look amazing and we couldn't see anything wrong with the hair and you looked so young and beautiful. You'lls family is awesome👍💟👍 how they all come together and help each other out, each person has contributed to the family and job at hand in one way or another and always get the job done with lots of fun and learning experience. We can see that Jarried is one of the guys in life that doesn't want to ask for directions from anyone when lost, but love how he has always been a big help and supportive to the family at whole and know the girls are going to love how the room turned out and how much love, went into getting it done and finished. Here's a tip so that you don't have any of those crazy tiny pieces in a doorway next time. If you measure things out and know that's where the boards are going to hit, rip the boards next to the wall instead of starting out with full boards. That way when you hit that area of the wall, it's a mostly full board that you are cutting maybe half of the board in that spot instead of 98% of the board. Also, it's a good idea to be pulling boards from multiple packages at the same time rather than focusing on one box at a time. There can be some color variations and pattern variations that you won't want them to all fall in one area, better to have them mixed throughout the room.

Seeing you work around the closet door makes me think about a tool I have seen advertised. It looks like a bunch of pins laying on their side that you push against the area you are cutting around. It forms the shape of what needs to be cut out so you can trace it instead of measuring everything.
I couldn’t imagine laying flooring without removing the baseboards. I redid my entire house last year and removed them all, also because I gave them all a fresh coat of trim paint. It’s so much easier installing the floor, then laying the baseboards flush on top so then you aren’t getting weird gaps if the old floor or subfloor is uneven like mine was.
The hassle with leaving the base boards on would drive me crazy too. Plus so many cheifs in one room. That would be a no go for me. I would of just let jared do it and move to a completely different room. Lol i have a little song that i sing... i have amxiety and "name" isnt making it better. In this case. I have anxiety a d Jared isn't maling it better. Sorry Jared. Edit to add tip. Always cut flooring tule anythung, upside down. So if it chips, its on the bottim side and wont ever be seen.
It is so funny Jared and Kylie fighting. In the uk, we are taught not to put the flooring right to the skirting board to leave room for expansion as it settles and then put strips of cork in between.
