    This human being is precious. So precious that using a synonym for precious would understate the statement ❤

    Why do people always refer to Liz's year of travelling as a 'year off'? She was doing the work of her life and out of it came a great memoir. That's work!

      Exactly. And it is like "average person" 🙄 We decide ourselves if we are average or above. Anyone in America can save up for India or Indonesia, can go for work, can become significant professional. Like Liz is not to blame. I found opportunity for myself although I am simple Russian single mother. Give me a break! Anyone can.

      Memoir was very lowest common denominator, at best.

      Because people feel a woman's role is to be in service to other people, not to their own souls or creativity. As she said, she even was apologising for it herself in the book. However, she's creating a new model for how women could be. LOVE HER!!

    Elizabeth - I love how you express who you are and your perception of life and the world and the human thought process. It is entertaining, enlightening, and full of curiosity and change. You are a great role model for so many people who are limited in their ability to journey. Thank you for being you. Btw- I met / interviewed Byron Katie in the 1980’s ( before she was famous) and wrote a play “Yes Angel” with Byron Katie as one of the “characters”in the play. I’m 57 and been in the exploration train since I came out as gay when I was 16. It has been a great ride thus far and I so appreciated when I heard recently that you had loved/ cared for/ devoted your heart time and soul to a woman- Rayya- in her last year of life in her body and how you surrendered to the truth of how you felt about her before you/ she died. Beautiful and courageous.

    Can’t stand this woman, seems like she has a lot of narc tendencies to me. She pulls a lot of people into her web and seems to always need an audience. There are zillions of people on this planet more accomplished, more empathetic and highly creative who have offered more to humanity but who don’t need to advertise their process. Why don’t we exalt real people who deserve to be listened to?
    Ps I only commented because she keeps popping up on my feed. No hate just reality.

    • @sharonmassey2923
      @sharonmassey2923 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      How do you figure she's advertising, when she is repeatedly INVITED to speak? If I felt like spending the time, I could completely disassemble everything you've said. Next time, if there's a choice between figuring out your feed and baselessly crapping all over someone, I'm sure you'll make a different one. This crapping culture has to change. And your very last sentence is bullshit.

    • @Rubylove48
      @Rubylove48 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Happy to disagree, I’m entitled to my opinion, just as you are. Take care. Good luck with your disassembly projects, if you think being invited is different from self promotion you’re either naive or ignorant or both. I still think she a self aggrandising and vacuous person. Oh yeah, and my opinion is not baseless. Sorry to disappoint. 🤷🏻‍♀️
