    It's amazing how you have explained all this in one single video. And this advice is soooo useful and insightful. Wow.

    Great stuff, getting the rythm right first and then doing the accentuation. Drummer technique.

    There are guitar videos, and there are USEFUL guitar videos... and this one belongs to the latter! Thank you!

    You are such a good teacher, Justin. I learned many good things from this video. You have a great way of explaining things that I think people can relate to. Not many people can take a 3 note lick and make it sound that damn good. Thanks, and God Bless.

    An affable right on subject teacher. If he was instructing on top sites Guitar Tricks and Jamplay he would be their most popular instructor.

    I would love it if you did a lesson on ballads (be it rock, country or blues ballads), some common chord progressions used, how to properly mix major and minor in them to get the nice bittersweet feeling going, generally some soloing guidelines that would apply to ballads that don't apply to say regular blues, rock and so on, however I presume the next lesson course will be on rock guitar? I'm also wondering, what's your favorite guitar out of the ones you own?

    • @nickyelovich3872
      @nickyelovich3872 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Contrary to popular belief, a ballad is actually a song that tells a story. So a ballad could technically be a thrash metal song. The term can encompass any genre, tempo, chord progression, etc.

      Just keep playing it will click. Just find what works for you. I can alternate pick my ass off and dance around the neck but can’t legato so I can’t shred

    • @technixstriker3999

      +Technix Striker I have fairly chubby fingers how do i overcome that?

    • @jkov
      @jkov 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      90% of things come down to just sitting down and practicing. Trying and failing and trying again until you get it. A lot of people have big fingers (myself included) and have 0 problems with that. How did I "overcome" that? I just played a lot.

    • @AgentSmith911
