Why do camera manufacturers make everything far too unreachable? Glad that you have solved the issue, meanwhile I stick to less than 30 seconds for now
how can I make the exposure time 60 seconds and set the interval to e.g. 60 photos, I want to photograph the milky way and the Sony application has a bulb mode but no intervalometer (I have an Android phone) and I would like to control it from the phone
Hey. So I’m using a Sony A7 II and I can’t go to BULB mode in remote app. And when I’m at first set up a bulb in camera it automatically goes to 30” mode when I connect with app. How I can work it out? Thanks!
Great, awesome, another crappy app/developer that is not available on play store and doesn't support android, the most popular phone platform on the planet
It's a bit harsh to say "crappy developer" if they are only one person making the app in their spare time for example - it's a bit different if it's a big brand with lots of money/developers - really we should be demanding more as consumers from cameras/brands when it comes to basic features in cameras like long exposure.

Can we please have more tutorials like yours online? You rock, thanks man!
Thankyou so much :)
Super handy mate thanks so much!
No problem 👍 :) :)
Excellent! Should make astrophotography so much better for me now. Thank you.
You're very welcome! Thanks :) :)
Great video! Can you set up photo timelapse with exposures longer than 30 seconds?
Excellent, just what I was looking for, thank you.
Thanks Bill - glad it was helpful :)
Is the camrote app still available? Google Play defaults to Amazon Photos which doesn't do what you recommend.
Its apple only
The remote controller you recommend. I have the A6700, which is not in the list of supported devices. Will it work? Great video btw.

The remote shown here or even others like it have an intervalometer in them, so you can set it on the remote to do that.
Is there an app recommendation for android phones you could make that does the same thing as camrote?
Hi not sure as I don't have an Android I'm afraid.

Hi that sounds weird, maybe make sure the app is up to date - don't have an A7 II to test on sorry - maybe reach out to the app support.

Hi Jason... Fantastic.. I need this jjc in India, but can't get.. Can u help?
Hi Anupam - thanks - sorry I don't know how to get in India - can you order from Amazon US maybe?

eBay
I can't find the bulb mode in my sony A7M4. Please help
Click on single shot mode and then u can access Bulb mode. These guys dont give all the info.
Sooo are those the only ways to do the long exposure??? I can't manually do it on the camera itself
Depends on cam - newer cams have bulb (upto 15 mins I think) built in.
How can I reduce the lag / time to save an image from a 5 seconds exposure
Not sure, sorry :(
hi why is my bulb mode not working when i click its just like taking normal picture
Not sure, make sure app is up to date and maybe contact app support if it still not working and you are using a supported camera.
camrote is only on ios what about android?
Fantastic
Thank you so much 😀
Google Play removed the app..
Yeah yeah yeah but how do you download Camrote on Android
You can't 😅
@@rainysun9 Pretty shitty that the best remote control app is only developed for the most expensive cellphones
