I knitted my first every sweater with you - Fall Bluff! Finished it last week. Never wanted to take it off. I bought this pattern as soon as I received your email yesterday and I'm looking forward to knitting with you again. Thank you for your generosity in creating these accompanying videos and thank you for teaching so many of us to cross that bridge from scarves and hats to sweaters. Good luck with all of the projects you have going!
Thank you Ashley for another wonderful tutorial, you are a fabulous teacher! I've learned so much from you, especially how to knit in the round with circulars which, up untill a few months ago, was a daunting prospect for me! I have just bought your beautiful pattern from Etsy and can't wait to knit it up ! 💗 Thanks again for all that you share with us. Rosemary (Scotland)
I've already made 2 of your patterns and they were amazing!!! I'm going to make this one too ✌ tomorrow I will go Yarn shopping to find a pretty color maybe I will make 2 😉
Thank you for your perfect tutorials. I have seen this poncho on Instagram and I've been waiting for the tutorial to be released. Excited to work on it ❤️❤️
All your projects are so nice, thank you. I want to make this beautiful poncho with thinner yarn. I will make a gauge swatch to find out the amount of stitches needed to fit around my body. I noticed that I would need a multiple of 9 stitches plus 1 for the vine lace stitch, do I start with half the amount of stitches for the ribbing?
I've got a worsted weight version of the pattern here! www.ashleylillis.com/blog/2023/8/12/simple-lace-knit-poncho-capelet-knitting-pattern-all-the-vines
Thank you so much! May i ask you One quesion? In ROUND 1 you start with KNIT ONE STICHTES...and then the pattern right? But in ROUND 3.BERORE the pattern and THEN the last STICHTE Is KNIT ONE right? But i dont understand in ROUND FIVE ..Is like round 1? Before the KNIT ONE and then the pattern? So Is a multiple of 9 plus One STICHTE??? Thank youuuuuuuuuu Sorry for my english
Ashley, my MIL saw your pattern and wants me to knit it for her which I don't mind doing. Here's the glitch she bought 4 hanks of fingering weight 75% super wash merino wool 25% nylon 437 yards each. How do I adjust your pattern to the yarn??

Thanks so much. It has always been pronounced "CAPE~LET", meaning a small cape. Here in the USA, we also pronounce it as "SKANES"...not "SKEENS" ! It's a Latin root which helps us pronounce as intended. Thirdly, we're NOT all "guys", but, maybe that's your target audience. Ok. Thank you certainly.

Suggest adding stitch markers between lace repeats. It’s easier to count to see missed yarn overs.
Not me sprinting to buy the pattern. 🏃🏾♀️❤❤❤ Love to support your work!
Haha! Love it…. Thanks so much!! ❤️
Thank You

I would love this in a less bulky yarn.

Hi, can I knit this pattern with , we are knitters (THE WOOL)? Or the red sweater you did during holidays last year? Thank you so much 😊
That yarn is definitely thicker so you’ll have to check your gauge!
Super
