Seperewa (Akan Harp) Construction (2)

The seperewa is a harp-lute that has a long tradition amongst the Akan. Few musicians still play it today but it is taught at the University of Ghana and Winneba College by Osei Kwame Korankye.
I undertook this project of building a seperewa while teaching at the University of Ghana's Department of Music in 2018 and 2019.
