-Start in Fairbanks ➡️ Take the Dalton Highway to Wiseman ➡️ If you have an off-road-friendly vehicle, take Nolan Mining Road to the end ➡️ Hike west for 2.5 miles ➡️ Congrats, enjoy the view. You made it into the park!
Don't be intimidated; just because it's a few hundred miles from civilization doesn't mean it's inaccessible. Enjoy exploring YOUR public lands. Here are my top 10 Reasons to Hike the Gates of the Arctic (Instead of Just Flying Over It):
