Finally it worked!!!!! Some videos say different things like “feel how loose (or tight) when you revolve the numbers”, “start from the top (or bottom)”, some have the wire type of hook which can bent, how you feel the resist (push or pull the hook). All those videos combined and I decided my lock at last!! Mine was already unlocked to begin with, so my situation was different from many people here from the get go. Pulling the hook didn’t work to feel the resistance of the revolver so I pushed down and most of the numbers felt tight to turn, but one number felt relatively tighter or looser and trying from bottom up and top down, both ways. Finally the middle number clicked and the lock was opened. Thanks a bunch, bud!!! Hope everyone can manage to unlock their locks as well!
Excellent! It sounds like a "combination" of your patience & determination was the key to you success. Yep, when it's locked in an "open" position, you have to push the shackle (instead of pulling it) to get tension, and it can be harder to decode it when it's like that as you have to be careful to push down straight. Thanks for sharing and well done :D :D
Tried the bobby pin method, dam its harder than you make it look 😄 i spent 15 minutes with it and couldn't get it open that way, however the tension+feel method worked just fine! I'd mention that i went with the most tense wheel to least rather than chronological order from the bottom up.
Thank you for letting me and sharing what worked. Yea the bobby pin method only works on some locks. And yes you're right, the method you used going from most tense wheel to least is the proper way of doing it. On a lot of locks it's in order (like in the video) but not all, so well done on figuring out a more advanced method yourself. You must have a knack for that sort of thing!
Dude you saved me. I needed a lock urgently for tomorrow, and I had 2, which smartie me forgot the combination for. Being so easy to unlock makes it feel much less safe, but still better than nothing. Can't thank you enough dude, you're a legend.
I have an open tsa007 lock. I can't close it, because I don't have the code. I was able to lower the middle ring, with your help and a pin. But again the shackle doesn't go down. How can I get the lock working?
You should be able to tension it by pushing it closed (instead on pulling it) and use the same decoding method. By careful to push down straight (so if it closes, it will go into the hole, and that it's not twisted to the side a bit). Wear gloves if it hurts your fingers. If you have no luck, then if it's only a 3-wheel lock then you *could* try every single combination (if you're patient and have some time). Good luck, and let me know how you get on!
@@Swynndla I already succeeded, by pressing the shackle and turning it clockwise. The rings turned a little with it and suddenly I could press it down while a certain combination was visible. Then I could turn the hairpin back and the ring came up and the lock was locked. With this combination I could set my own code again. Thanks for your thinking along for me.
@@ronvanandel161 Well done for getting it open! - excellent! 😜😜 Yea some of those little locks can have problems. Well done again and have a great day!
I knew of this method but wanted to double check for TSA007 as I'd locked it accidently whilst testing the locking mechanism. Took me ages to use the tension method to work out the combination I got 4-5-0-0 with tension or 5-4-0-0 but it still wouldnt open! Eventually got fed up and decided to try all combinations from 0 to 9999 LMAO Thank God it opened on 2-0-9-0 xD so it took me a few min :p
Way to go, combo whisperer. lol. I can see why the TSA would support this fine padlock. If they ever lost their 'agent 007 key' they could easily accost a female passenger and take her bobby pin to get into it. lol. Interesting video:-)
@@nitro-558 It should be exactly the same but in reverse ... *push* the shackle trying to close it which will tension is ... keep turning each wheel until you find a loose spot. :D Good luck!
Do you mean you locked it open - so you can close it? If so, I did a video on that here: th-cam.com/video/ms-OVeqxPzA/w-d-xo.html ... see the 2nd half of that video.
Nice demo. TSA approved means it looks like a lock until you try to get into it. Then you realize it's an illusion. Might as well make a paper lock, and issue TSA agents the master key (a pair of scissors). 😂🤣

Accidentally locked this padlock 2 mins after getting it. This video was great for getting unlocked when i didnt know what code I'd set it to.

Well done! It's a satisfying feeling when it pops open :D :D
Picked my locked with this method after never successfully picking a lock before

Why use any lock? If the TSA can get into your luggage then who else can? Oh the driver/loaders. Uh huh..LIke they can''t acquire that "special key".
Holy crap it worked! Thanks!
Hehe well done ... and you're welcome :D :D
amazing man!!!, thanks a lot for your video...
Cheers! Well done for getting your lock open.
OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fun show with the bobby pins - nice decoding, too :-)

Also I hope to one day be as good at Potti314 :D :D
Hey do you have to turn it till it gets hard to turn or turn it till its easy to turn
Turn until it's easy to turn ... but you have to turn while tensioning the shackle (ie pull constantly as if you're trying to pull the shackle open).

I'm currently in the middle of basic training when my lock decided not to open to the combination. You've just saved my ass you son of a bitch
