Rongpei, Suxion and Hailan are like the main three women in Ruyi’s life that is closest confidant, friend, companion and sister. That’s the one thing that is very noticeable, when compared to the other concubines within the palace. Also, it does make one think even deeper if parts of it could be true in some sense within the palace.
We finally see Ruyi cry. That shows her illness more than anything else can.
