it’s really difficult to listen the moderator. He is shouting Tap tap tap and not understanding the hard life this man went through. This man went through torture and racism.I think the company in Poland should be exposed.

I don't think many people understand how important sleep is. No matter how easy or hard your job is, if you're not sleeping, you can't function. I'm in America and I'm a professional, working in an office, if I miss a few days of sleep, I become sick. Just that alone is enough to drive anyone to the brink, especially if you're doing hard labor.

    • @Jane-ie9ul

Not only in America, everywhere in the world. Sleep is very important but sometimes situation doesn't allow.

People got no sympathy leave alone empathy.is it a crime for one to look for greener pastures? we've all done that in our lives.the man took a loan and gave to an agent for goodness sake, that alone is enough to give you a depression(may be 600k even).then got a raw deal 😢😢

This is a sad story but also a reality check for anyone dreaming of moving abroad. As stated in a comment elsewhere, living and working abroad is not for everyone. Some people just find it harder to adapt. The beginning is always harder - settling down in these foreign countries is challenging - getting used to the work place cultures is a slow process-even in office jobs - which are available, especially here in Canada. I hope he is ready to tough it out in Germany and at least not have wasted all this time abroad.

There are categories. Kuna wale wanakuja Europe kusoma, who more or less can have it easier than wale wanakuja na Agents. Nimeishi Poland and i can say compared to other EU countries, its one of the not so do good to countries in EU. So this guy amepitia a lot from his story. Not only doing a very hard work but also the racist abuse, its tormenting. Those are very hard work that they give to Foreigners only. In general EU is not as people think back home. It can be a good or the worst experience. It took me 10 years to finally say i am in EU and in those 10 years i need to write book 😂. Paul keep on pushing. One day you will look back and appreciate your experience.

Always try to fit into someone shoes and imagine if it was you. Lack of sleep hata unaweza chizi. I pray he finally gets a good job that will help at home and even projects.

One thing i know is that, there is alot of racism in this countries and especially when they know that you dont have regal papers, so you are treated like a slave. Back here we treat them like royals and angels, because back at our countries where they own companies, their working conditions and payments are favourable than those owned by our our own. The reason being they do so since, those are not their countries. My advice is for him to be patient and he will get a better job. Germany is better i think if he gets regal jobs, but it is very strict. My prayer to him is to get help from those who may be touched.

Pole Sana, am a HR person and listening to this man, I think he was unprepared for Europe. He hasn't told us how the 1year working and living experience in Qatar was to understand his behavioural attitude towards the work he was doing.
Transition to Europe for him was not well prepared, and psychological he seems not ok to handle the diversity and culture changes.
He needs to seek counselling, have a mindset change not complaining all the time so that he gets beyond him thinking that different races/people are against him. He should not have a victim mentality but remember that he left Kenya to seek greener pastures hence either make it or come to KE and try to hussel here.

@@annkahiu7250 , it unfortunate that probably his expectations were that the kind of work he'd land on was skilled. The kind of jobs being sought for by the western countries are more for unskilled labourers. If he had a clearer job offer with clear terms of employment (job description, work particulars and conditions - time/hours of work, law governing their engagement contract being a foreigner, payments terms etc. then he'd would not have had to go through all the confusion. Going forward as he seems to want to still try and make it in Europe, he needs to have a change of victim mindset. He can only be a better person to be able to work and live with all sorts of people then he'll be able to be more supportive to his family back in Kenya. Otherwise he might loose it chasing after the wind.
