Before I even saw the state of the backyard, I had already agreed with this precious mother that I would clean her front and back yard, so when I finally saw it…I was shocked LOL! It was NEGLECTED and FILTHY when I saw it. She desperately needed the help and so I was more than happy to be a blessing to her.

She can if she stops using her yard for a trash dump and teach her children to clean up and be neat about how they treat their dog and other things. How'd they like living in all that mess ❓I pray for people like this.

That yard is all weeds.It will be back to that in 3 weeks. The whole thing needs to be sprayed with weed killer, then again in a few weeks. Because anyone who lets their yard get that way is not going to keep it up. That is a yard for an experienced Gardner. Someone could work out there a few hours every day. Especially if they wanted grass. Now that would take some definite work.

I am with the others who felt the amount of stuff hidden in that back yard mess was mind boggling. If there are children, at least it is safer for them to play in. Excellent work tackling what normally would be an expensive job. Time for the homeowners to go thru the mess you uncovered and set aside. I hope you got everything cleaned out by weed eating first, then mowing. The concrete revealed under the grass was a lot of work. Be interesting for a comeback video for a shot to see if the homeowners kept it up after you gave them a chance to keep it up a lot easier.
I agree Doc. That gentleman far exceeded what any human being should have done and I do hope that he goes back to see if it has been kept up. I think this makeover has boggled everyone’s mind.
@Figment You are right, though from the looks of it, most if not all the stuff in that yard looked like adult junk. Evidently they were not told to pick up after themselves. Sadly children learn by example in this case.

I really hope, this owner keeps her area tidy from now on. It should never revert to such a chaotic state. Inviting vermon and unwanted creatures galore. Not to mention a child's saftey, being exposed to rubbish and potential sharp items sturne about.

Part 2 amazing Steve, so much trash and yet you cleared it all up and made it so much better. You did more than enough but I would have liked to have seen most of the plants and shrubs gone. A clean slade, no one needs to live like that, and how very sad that it did become so cluttered and so over grown. Karen: If she’s the woman she ought to be she will keep the yard up. I have never seen anything like it. And the very fine gentleman who cleaned that yard up must have seen some saving grace in her. My goodness gracious the man didn’t just mow the yard, he got rid of all the garbage and rubbish in the yard. The city ought to give him a commidation for cleaning the yard up.

@@connieeddy178 My husband left me and our children many years ago. Divorce is comparable to a death and the grieving process. Until you go through it, you should not judge. Trying to work and raise a family, I can tell you that lawn care is not on the list of priorities! 🤷♀️
@@karengossett1475 Karen: I did work and raised three children. I wasn’t judging, that was just plain reality.
I have three amazing children who have the same work ethics that my husband and I have. I’m almost 80 years old now and I still haven’t stopped. I still do all my housework and upkeep. My husband passed in 2014 so I know what hard work is. My body is paying for it now. But God has blessed me with three amazing wonderful children. My eldest is a federal agent with CBP, my other son is a fireman/ paramedic and my daughter is a middle grade school teacher. Im a very blessed mother.

You are truly an inspiration ! I'm a 63 year old grandmother and thoroughly enjoy your videos. Despite my age I do a lot of work with a weedeater and a chainsaw. I get anxious to get out there in the rough weed covered, brush filled, high grass terrain after viewing a couple of your videos. Keep up the great work !

Great job. I would like to see a return clean up on this place after the vehicles are removed. Maybe the grass will a little greener. Hopefully some one can get the lawnmower out and make sure it runs.
