Tip: On Windows 10 type "Turn Mono audio on or off" and press "Turn on mono audio". This will bring you the stereo experience. And great video by the way.
Wouldn't you rather want to type : create partition primary shrink minimum=450 or(500) format quick fs=ntfs label=”Windows” at 11:55 and then make the recovery partition so that all available room except the recovery partition is used for the C: drive?
Well that could be one way to do it. The way I do in the video is I make the system, MSR (Reserved) and the recovery partition first so that when I create the primary main partition for Windows it uses all the remaining space left. You would need a system and MSR partition so the way you mention may have you run into some problems. This is just a guide there are of course different ways to achieve the same outcome but thank you for watching the video I hope it was helpful :)
Bro, this is amazing. Please believe me when I say you just inspired the solution to a very niche issue. Thank you, thank you in an immeasurable amount. I am curious though, have you ever had any issues with DISM and its interaction with Windows licensing and activation?
Thanks for the feedback happy to see this is helping people. As for the windows lisencing and activation, that is why you must run sysprep first to remove ownership of the OS to make copies of the image of the system. Once you apply image using DISM you can afterwards activate either with a microsoft account or your cd key. Hope this helps :)
@@corporate.security you must run sysprep to remove hostname from OS as well as hardware specific drivers. You wont be able to run DISM if you dont. You will not lose your user account. In my video my original user was still there just when you run out of box experience(OOBE) you need to make a new account or login to your Microsoft account. If you need the lisencing info I'd suggest linking your windows 10 OS to your gmail account. Then once you've deployed the image you can just login with your Microsoft account and itll be registered. Or you can run their party software to show the lisencing key but this isn't guaranteed to work.
I need some with this. I already ran the sysprep on my machine that I need to capture and I loaded the machine with all updates and programs necessary. I did not do any converting to gpt, I do have a windowspe usb. Can I use that and still capture and deploy the OS to an external usb and set that as a windows 10 install?
You can just need to find the drive you want to capture the image to and assign a letter to it. Use the same command but replacing the drive letter with the drive you are capturing to.
In my video CaptureDir:C:\ represents the drive image you are capturing and ImageFile:"C:\OS.Wim" represents the directory it saves to so replace C:\Os.wim with the letter of your USB Drive which you may have to assign a letter to using diskpart like i showed previously. Thanks for watching and please consider subscribing if you found this video helpful :)
When this was recorded the microphone recorded in mono. I am planning on making a new version of this video. Will be higher quality. Thanks for watching
Thank you for your awesome effort. But my only complaint other than the mono sound, Is that you edited the video but didn't cut the loading times. Remember that considering the conciseness of your videos nowadays is the key to success(views).
only complaint i have is your soft spoken someone had to be negative nancy here listen man im quarantined but soon as i get back to the office im gonna try this i needed a way to restore the boot system drive cuz i did a clean install using dism didnt realized i wiped all partitions

@@ghosttechtips6944 oh ok, in this case I need the user and license data, so I'll just skip sysprep.
