      It's a scooter that would prefer you to carry the charger around with you, which isn't a bad thing

    GoTrax is pretty much the same one just no turn signals or stop light with a price tag of only 289.00, I weigh 205 at 6' and got it up to 15mph not to shabby for cruising around downtown Dallas..

    Bonsoir,
    Comment changer la batterie sur ce modèle car même en dévissant les 4 vis du support ou l'on met les pieds, ça bloque,vau milieu.
    Merci pour les renseignements que vous pourrez me donner.
    Bonne soirée

  • @Undech01
    @Undech01 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    As the electric motor hearts up as you ride it speed throttles down to 15-16 mph

    What about the gotrax v2 (which is on sale for 250$) that can do 90% of what that does👀

    • @diegocarrington
      @diegocarrington 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Been riding my GXL V2 for about two weeks for everyday commuting and I'm already looking for upgrading, not for a bad reason though.
      At 6'2 and 190 lbs the scooter is super fun but even though this is my first scooter I felt like it lacks a bit of punch at the highest speed. I'm not trying to get or go at Boosted Rev 25 mph but I felt like 18 or so is the sweet spot for safe and fun commuting.
      I recently tested the displayed speed of 15.5 that the screen of the scooter shows and found out that it is really a 13 mph. Take this with a grain of salt though , I could be a bit towards the heavy rider weight (considering I'm not close to the limit but maybe someone lighter could get a better speed) so this could battery on each person's weight and conditions.
      At the end, the gotrax showed me the awesome side of escooter commuting and now that I now it definitely fits in my lifestyle I'm just trying to get something that could get me the claimed speed that my gotrax lacks, a rear light and a few other features that this bump in price offers that in my opinion, is definitely worth it.
      Now I just need to decide in between this and the Levy scooter, decisions decisions.

    I bought one, for $ 165,- (used) - with the brand Viron XI 700-S
    Here in germany, it´s a bit difficult.
    It must be an version, who is licenced for use in public traffic.
    So max speed limit: 13 mph allowed.
    It needs two independent brakes, and an acustic warn signal using, ie bicycle bell.
    The red turn lights are forbidden. All turn signals would be forbidden, on e-scooters - how stupid.
    You need an insurance for E-Scooter, with an anual current sticker on the back of the scooter.
    So the police can see it.
    The drum brake in the rear wheel is too tough. A disc brake would be better.

    M365 in marginally more expensive and has twice the range.

    • @Electrek
      @Electrek  4 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      It doesn't really, that's just marketing. M365 has a 280 Wh battery versus 270 Wh battery in the CityRider. So it's the same, except CityRider lists real world range so it looks like less. But the CityRider also goes faster and costs less...
