Rudolph is very underrated as a composer. Most of the scorpions songs were written by him.

It's so funny hearing Uli say that the lyrics for I've Got To Be Free were kind of a joke, because over the years many, many people have written that Uli left the band because he "couldn't stand" being in the band anymore and had animosities with the other members, when it couldn't be further from the truth. He only wanted to express himself musically in a style that didn't fit the Scorpions' sound, and they were all OK with that. Even Matthias has a connection with Uli, since he was a friend of Uli's brother Zeno Roth, and it was through this connection that Matthias was brought into the band. When you listen to Matthias' first performances with Scorpions you can tell that he was still kinda green and developing his style.
