Episode #1 Specialised contractor in a multi-generation farm [LEMKEN SoilTour 2021]

Today we are taking soil samples from a contractor in Lower Saxony. As part of our soil tour, we start in Bommelsen at the farm contractor Thilo Jäger. In addition to the agricultural contracting business, the four-generation company also runs a horse boarding facility and its own arable land. As a contractor, the company specialises in the mechanical collection and documentation of soil samples. We accompany Volker Jäger during soil sampling on a 2.6 ha field and he tells us what is important in professional soil sampling.
