Spreading Manure

We're finally finishing up hauling and spreading manure. We've covered the wheat ground nearest the dairy and while my father-in-law works that in with the disk, we are spreading the manure on the wheat field farthest from the dairy. Ya'll are so lucky ya'll don't have smell-o-vision! We will be ready to plant wheat around September 15th, which is right around the corner!

From old white haired farmer so much joy watching your channel the way I grew up and how my wife and I raised our kids on dairy farm. Cows are gone now. It brings back lots of memories. Keep up the good work

Can't have little man peeing in the poop pit! It just not sanitary. Then Mom rides the poop bucket. Little man doesn't need Pre-K. He will learn more making sure Dad doesn't mess up.

Striped off the black soil to pour a pad? They should pile it nearby for the farmer to do what they wish with it. A lease isn't a licence to destroy a bit of land for the next century. How long are the leases - year to year?

@MichaelHolloway a lease lasts as long as there is a producing well. the lease for the specific spot is up since they never put the pad there. they reclaimed the land, but in doing so, they mixed clay and dirt, so it makes it hard to grow wheat, and we've been working hard ever since to make it better.
