- In this elden ring video I'm testing if any of the strongest bosses in elden ring can raid the moving caravan. To test this I chose the consecrated snowfield caravan and added a final secret boss to it to make it even more challenging.

The Snowfield Night's Cavalry duo is the strongest variant of the enemy. It's better to try to fight them one at a time and away from the caravan- they're tough when they're together and you have Pages all too happy to snipe you.
It’s the consecrated snow fields. Everything is super strong.
Same, on my first playthrough I spammed the black knife aoe +9 and wondered how they both died so quickly

@@arridueldes9843 nah there 2 more dangerous places 1. is the everjail you need to solve for haligtree (god I hate that place) and the other is deep root depths where all the frogs are (cuse deathblight)

The dragon lord won that battle. The terrain caused him to miss numerous times.
Yeah, his moveset is designed for a flat arena and this terrain really put him on a huge disadvantage. He totally won in my books.
Maliketh got fucked even worse by the terrain. Literally went into the falling animation on half his attacks, leaving him, the guy with less poise and barely more health than Godrick, open for three seconds each time. Not that he was ever going to win this since he can't even hit anything, but he'd have at least killed one enemy if not for that.

It was dope watching the bear take cover while he took shots from overhead tho. Dragonlord claims victory though

Yeah, the only reason Placidusax died was cuz of how much he missed due to him not being coded for unlevel terrain. There were even melee attacks that missed cuz the enemy was a couple feet higher. If coding is the only thing holding the boss back, that feels like a win for the boss to me.

I would give that title to the Haligtree. Not only is the scaling a bit higher than in the snowfields, but you also can't just gallop through them like you can for the Snowfields.
@@lubue5795 you can see everything in the Haligtree if they're not hiding behind a corner. there's also no arrow spam aside from the one bubble section and the ballista area
sure enemies hit hard, but most of them are humanoids and staggers very easily
@@paracame8162 Yeah, but in the snowfields you just run past the enemies, be damned whatever they are. It's really not hard to do.
Also, assuming you've played the game before and know the archer locations, it's also really easy to dodge them.

From my first experience, both the snowfields and the Haligtree were scary.
These guys could become Elden Lord if they did not stop a every second tree to let the Runebear piss.

To be fair malenia seemed to have bugged quite a few times especially Phase 2, she often did nothing or fly up without soing smth
Placidusax doing the fly by attack to the rune bear with the fake out laser and then the real one right after was crazy

Frenzied Vike with evergaol scaling, Hyetta and Shabriri (possesed Yura)
- Both Margits and Morgott
- Mohg + Morgott
(They've escaped the sewers and take revenge)
- Radagon with all his doggos
- Frenzied Army (all frenzied enemies) led by frenzied Vike with evergaol scaling

I like the frenzied flame, I’m constantly afflicted with permanent madness in real life so it gives a sense of home

34:48 GinoMachino always talks about that fire breath mechanic and how it’s horrible and bounces off the most random environmental artifacts and I think this moment perfectly exemplifies why. I never knew what he meant until I saw this moment where it bounces off of an icicle and goes 200 more meters in the opposite direction.
I know the thumbnail hinted at something being in the chariot, but I wasn't expecting a *Frickin Rune Bear* to explode out of it.
That's the kinds of "oh shit! guess I'll die" things that I'm surprised the game hasn't done on it's own, yet.
Anyway, i think a potentially fun and PC melting idea could be hyper speed Laser Golem.
That would definitely kill my pc lol
But the game HAS done that kind of thing, in this very snowfield even - which was no doubt the inspiration for putting it in the chariot. Not too far from the grace near the caravan, there are 2 guys watching a third guy who's stuck in the snow. When you get close, that stuck guy suddenly turns into a runebear and attacks you! And there are a few other events like this peppered thruout the game

I'm not talking about transforming enemies.
I was referring more towards events like the chariot exploding and a bear jumping out of it. FROM doesn't really do environmental manipulation stuff like that very often where normally safe objects just up and jump scare you with surprise mini-boss fights, your guard may be down so it gets you.
That's more what I meant.
The transforming enemies don't hit the same because you're already in combat before they transform, also field bosses just kinda materialize out of thin air or can be seen well in advance and don't jump out of exploding structures, or come crashing through walls DS2 style, etc.
I want more genuinely scary surprise encounters.
Wasn't expecting this to turn into "Can ANY boss beat just TWO (2) Night's Cavalry", it was so funny, because I sure wasn't expecting the answer to be almost no!

Pretty funny watching riff-raff keep Rick under control while the Night Cav beat him to death.
Man your videos really are the best out of the other channels that do this. Other channels don’t have any voiceovers or on screen text. It helps to have a little more of a personal touch. We like seeing some of the funny text after fights and hearing your introduction. You also do some really creative fights. Keep it up.

I swear the game has gotten slightly easier over the last few years, but then I realized I started playing a tank and I'm actually wearing armor now.
I was not expecting a runebear, but that was a pretty awesome reveal! I am honestly surprised any boss at all survived that (other than Malenia the cheater). Fire Giant only survived because the lock on points on his second form are literally broken. There isn't one on his legs.

Dragonlord Placi had by far the coolest fight
Now I feel somewhat better about the few bosses I have left to do in my first playthrough. Because *I* DID defeat that whole caravan, AND the runebear. Actually ALL the runebears, except one that I'm still working on (he hides in the mist, making him hard to sneak up on). Of course, I didn't just run out into the middle of the field and attack the whole caravan at once right there. I did it smarter: I lured the knights off one at a time (and had to do that umpteen times because the second one kept glitching out and becoming unkillable or leaving behind an unkillable horse), then did the rest of the caravan from the top of the cliff using mostly ancient dragon's lightning strike. And the runebear(s) separately, of course, using generally sneaky methods or fighting from range at the edge of their territory. So I'm smarter than most or all of those bosses. (I killed the fire giant, so only Malenia remains in doubt, I suppose!)
Then again, the bosses I haven't killed yet, I'm going to be stuck in an arena with and won't be able to use sneaky methods or range on. So we'll see whether my smarts let me figure out a method that works for me on them, or not.
Damn, that waterfowl dance is always beautiful to see, though. Malenia on Runebear is just gorgeous. :)

this actually lore accurate the reason we find rick in the cave of beginnings is because he was recover after venturing out to avenge morgott who was betrayed by his own soldiers

I know this might take a lot more work, but have you considered doing 2 rounds for each boss, one with the original scaling and one with the area scaling? (Like if Morgott is fighting Malenia, in the second round he gets the same scaling as her).
Also, an idea for a video: Malenia-like Morgott. He gets the same scaling as her (both in health as damage) and gets superarmor,life steal and maybe a status effect on his phase 2 explosions.
I could do that but the videos would get very very long
@@BjornTheBear Some bosses get deleted just because they are from early areas. You might do a poll of whether people prefer OG scaling or equal scaling.
Also, I hope you find the Morgott idea interesting 😶
There are already many gauntlet runs where every boss is in their default scaling, so one round in each duel all with Tier 29 scaling should suffice.
Another interesting idea could be that every boss has the same scaling, but every boss has an entire health bar for each phase.
