Some of the nicest people I have met along the way are those tow truck drivers and the mechanics that have worked on my bus-home. What a great story, ladies. Thanks.
Lulu with you out west, I wake up to your videos. What a treat. Luann I love your positivity and the way you looked at the whole experience. It’s no wonder you and Lulu became fast friends. I had a coworker who said “ I don’t care if the glass is half full or half empty, I’m just glad to have a glass!” That is what your story reminded me of. 😊😊😊

You ladies are cracking me up. I just learned something about driving on bumpy roads so I thought I would share. I have an older 2005 Dodge Pleasureway Van that I have owned since 2007. I change my tires regularly and never have tires older than 5 years . The rubber wears out even when not driving much. When you buy a car, van or camper and you take it for a test drive, just take note that the ride will be smooth because your vehicle is not loaded down with all your stuff. They put the cheapest shocks on for the rating of that specific vehicle. I was bouncing so much even on a small speed bump, that I decided to get upgraded shocks, springleafs and bump stops. This is really important, especially if you have a lot of extra weight. OMGGGGG, what a huge difference. I feel like I am driving in a limosine :-). please check youtube for specifics on shock upgrades for your vehicle.......I truly wish I had done this back in 2007 before fully loading my van up.........
Thank you for filming that ride out of Lake Mead. My heart was in my mouth a few times, hoping no one would come around the corner right while you were trying to ascend and get around the corner at the same time. Loved Luanne's tire story; she handled the whole situation very well. It seems like you gals are really having the time of your lives. Loved the final campfire scene; a nice way to relax at the end of the day. Looking forward to your next video, as always! I hope someday to be able to join all you ladies on these adventures!
Hi Lulu and Luanne🙋♀️ Good morning 🌞 The bumpy ride 😮 so scary 😳😮 y'all are so brave ❤❤😊 Luanne's tire story was so funny, but she was so brave ,out there ❤️😊So glad there was ladies y'all knew there at the camp site made more fun ❤❤😊 Safe travels ❤️😊
the video was deceiving because we were only traveling 5 mph (I sped up the film), and the ride is very loud and crunchy on the gravel, so you would certainly hear someone coming around the corner, everyone driving super slow. it was safe in that way.
Loved Louanne's story. I know exactly how she feels having weathered a potential disaster and not letting the situation take her down. Many, many years ago, I had to get my Bronco to the dealership because, all of a sudden, I lost the use of 3 of my 5 gears. I could only get it into 2nd and 4th. It was a manual transmission. The dealership was way out on the outskirts of the city and I lived in the centre of the city. At the time, I did not have the money to hire a tow truck to get it out there so my only option was to drive it myself. I took as many backstreets as I could but, inevitably, I had to drive on some very busy roads. It was a little embarrassing because I had to gun it to get it into 2nd gear since 1st gear was dead and I had to also keep gunning it so it wouldn't stall when I came to a stop light.. Drivers in the cars around me were giving me looks because I was doing this. They probably thought it was some kid trying to hot rod until they saw it was just a middle aged woman in the driver's seat. After second gear, I had to gun it some more to get it into 4th gear because 3rd didn't work. It was a rather hair raising ride but I finally made it to the dealership. The mechanic came out and got into the Bronco to drive it into one of the bays and he couldn't get it into gear at all. So he says to me, "Lady, how the hell did you even get this thing here." I felt pretty proud of myself at that moment and also relieved that I had made it.
Watching your drive I was thinking about controlling the van with gears. Then thought you mostly have automatic gears. Oooh I'd so need control of my gear stick lol.
Lulu, you are so funny! That is what the county roads are like in central Washington, Columbia gorge farming areas that aren't paved. I lived on one growing up and it's still the same 50+ years later! The harvest trucks make them like washboards! And dusty! It was so interesting to see how very much the area you are in looks like the area from Ellensburg to Grand Coulee Dam. They are so similar. Just beautiful! You are having the time of your life and we are watching you do it! Can't wait to retire and do it, too!!! ♥️
My cousin Frieda lives in Pahrump!! I’ve been there several times. Loved Luanne’s story. So glad she was able to control her van. Angels are with you both. Thank God.
Your friend Luanne is a BAD Ass 100%, What an attitude she kept about her whole tire incident. I don't think I could have remained that calm. You girls are amazing, and I marvel at what you guys are doing and accomplishing. That ride out of Lake Mead looked very treacherous, I can only imagine in person how bad it was. Safe travels to both Lulu's.
She handled that great. I love how she just got her chair and set up camp on the side of the road while she waited for the tow truck. Those gravel roads are horrible, but that view, wow. Thanks for sharing.
Cool and cool story, Luanne. Have y'all ever thought of pulling up side by side with Lulu's awning between your 2 rooftop racks? Just a thought for a night so when you open the sliding doors you can see each other. Too close for comfort? Ha
Miss Lulu and Miss Luanne you’re great and inspiring ladies, love your attitude and sense of humor , I’m sure you’ll have a very pleasant experience with trip. Love you both.
My husband and I have driven down a couple of those rough roads out West in our car. Yikes! Please tell Luanne that I'm glad her first blowout was a back tire. Losing a front tire is a whole different story! Her hair would have turned white after that experience. Y'all are such a compliment to each other. Have fun!
Oh my goodness I have to tell you it has been so wonderful watching you ladies today. You too remind me of me and my sister who I used to get into things with all the time. Unfortunately I lost her a few years back to cancer but I have to let you both know that you made me smile so much today. Thank you, Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤
Bad *ss is right! Great job staying calm and handling the situation Luanne, definitely something to be proud of and sharing your experience. Lulu how crazy is that, that someone calls out and says 'your Lulu" ❤ That night sky with the red cloud on the fight looked like a salmon in the sky! Stay safe and continued fun your journey!
hi Lynda!! oh yeah, my tires have taken a beating!! I would rather have them all blow up before I would miss where we went!! it was worth it for sure!! 😊
Oh my! I’m glad you gals are ok after the 🛞 blowout. And glad both the tow truck driver & the tire shop looked out for you. We do rely on the kindness of strangers. That maybe having trouble finding the correct tire size out in rural America is why I got a real sized spare tire mounted underneath instead of the air compressor when I bought my PMC cargo minivan 🚐 from a dealer. I’ve known people that had to wait 3 or 4 days for the right tire size to get shipped to the shop.
hi Karin!! yes, people are good. both of those gentleman treated her so well, they were certain to take good care of her, it was heartwarming when she got to camp and told me the story!! 🙏
Exhilirating, she says.😳😳😳 When the video stopped showing the road and all we saw was sky I just about had a panic attack. That was some road. You are two brave ladies. So thankful you made it out of there in one piece. Luanne is a great storyteller. She has a great personality 😊 Enjoy your caravan time!!! Thanks for the upload.
hello!! yeah, that was a really sketchy spot, I was wondering if I was going to make it up that hill!!! yes, Luanne is a great storyteller, she's awesome!! thanks for writing!! Lulu 💕
so far, the roads have been a lot easier!! this road out to this BLM land in Pahrump, I would consider this very bumpy and tough IF I didn't experience that other road at Lake Mead. so this one was a piece of cake, really!! haha 😊
Hello Lulu, you inspire me! I’m a retired high school teacher with brain tumors-I’ve been dealing with them since mid ‘80s. Since I love road-trips and adventures; yet, can’t hit the road these days, I watch as many TH-cams as I can. You name them, I’ve watched them. I even made it to Bob Wells RTR back in 2919. Anyway, I’ve recently discovered your TH-cams and I love them! You are absolutely AWESOME! I wish I could join the HOWA Caravan there outside Pahrump. Keep on sharing your adventures!✨I’ve enjoyed watching your travel friend, Luanne (sp), too😃👍
I’ve had a brain tumor, but I still can’t imagine having to deal with several. You are clearly a very strong person who never gives up and that mindset will serve you well. Many hugs, much love and lots of healing to you! 😁🤗🥰
Exhilarating!! Are you kidding me!! When I saw the a truck on a highway in foreground I breathed a relief and unclenched my fingers from the now tepid cup of coffee and realized old George (my little dog) was pawing my foot to be let outside! I picked my jaw up and let him out and reheated the coffee, unpaused your video and finished this wonderful adventure! Wow! ‘What A Ride’ 🚐… thanks for sharing! 👏👏👏…
LuLu & Luanne or should I say "Lucy & Ethel" you made this video so much FUN watching you two share about the entire blow-out tire experience. 🚘🛞🚐🤣👏🏼👏🏼
I’ve been thinking (again) about the drive to/from Lake Mead, and also Luanne’s tire blowout. I don’t know if this makes sense, but I’ve watched several videos of nomads in Canada that like to travel the back roads in Vancouver territory. When they know they are going on rough terrain, they actually let some air out of their tires so that the tires can get a little better grip of the road. When then return to pavement, they stop to add air to their tires again first. They all seem to carry those rechargeable air inflators bought at auto stores or on Amazon. You gals might want to keep that in mind for future trips. Already looking forward to your next video! ❤😊
That road is not as bad as the one we took in the mountains to our cabin! You have to change gears when going up those hills and don’t have to go fast. Of course now the road is black topped up to one mile of the cabin! Brought back memories!
I was thinking I needed to change gears to that 1 or 2 that I see there, but I've never in my life switched to those numbers and wasn't sure what to do, so I just did my thing! 😊
Whew...i think you both are badass women!! Strength..courage and joy seem to be your mantle's!! Lived in Pahrump(water from rock) for 8 years..kniw that stretch well!! Luanne sitting on the side of the road..what a sight..great story!! I would have been traumatized!😅
I love you ladies out having so much fun on your own and enjoying life. It is one adventure after another for you all. Hope you meet some more fun people on this leg of the journey. You are the greatest.
I love it when you two just talk to us like we're there with you! You have made my day!. I also have a Sienna campervan. I'm interested in what kind of tires would be best. LuAnne handled the blowout like a champ. Hope I could do the same. Bless you both and thanks for sharing your journey Lu Lu's. 💗💗
mercy! mercy! mercy! and mercy! you two are definitely a couple of impressive, bad ass lou's lou's! thanks for sharing your ride out from lake mead! aaaahhhh!!!! i imagine even youtube overlanders would be impressed at how you both rode in and out of there in your 4 cylinder, mini camper vans and how ye managed your lines on that washboard road without airing down! continued travel mercies and blessings b.a.l.l.'s 🕊
yeah, that's what I thought too. this dispersed camping and finding specific spots in the middle of nowhere, was a learning curve. we're getting really good at it!! 😊
Beautiful Lulu ❤ But it sounded like you were driving a horse and buggy with all those big rock and bumps. You two ladies would be a hoot to hang out with. I love watching this videos thanks for taking us us along. Get those tires checked and have fun!
What a nice surprise in the middle of the night! You gals had me laughing out loud!! Thank you for sharing your wonderful adventures! 🙏🏻😘💞 (Big Bear Lake, CA)
That was quite some road. I was getting anxious for you when you were trying to get up that hill! Wow! I don’t particularly like to drive on dirt roads for any distance so it would be a challenge for me when boondocking. Good thing Luanne was able to keep her van under control. That’s scary. It’s really good that it was a rear tire!
See some more van tweaks coming up. 🥰 So glad everything worked out for you Luanne ❤ You were able to keep yourself safe. Small world; you two have to behave yourselves. Wishing you continued happy adventures. 🥰
What a ride! You are two wild and crazy girls!😂❤😂❤Just kidding! Both your attitudes are amazing. I laughed and prayed for your safety at the same time. 😅 Thank you Lulu for taking the time to share.🎉🎉🎉
Ha! Now we know that you can deliver beautiful footage of scenic drives. More please? I just love deserts, they force you to see colours, to focus closer to find those tiny plants amongst the 'nothingness'. That road reminds me of the 10kms I had to drive 4 times per day to get my daughter to school and back from the farm (with frequent detours to the tyre shop!)
That sunset is just like my area home I've said it before but I'll say it again you met the nicest people I think it has to do with you your sooo cool you can't help but attract😅 great people after I said I missed seeing you eat you were waiting for luanna and eating a delish salad and when you turned into the camera and said delish I got chills I swear you looked right at me lol sooo cool ❤❤❤❤
I always say, what you focus on grows. when I focus on people being awesome and expect it, most of the time that is what my experience is. I'm so grateful!!
You guys are getting famous! Watching all your adventures from a chilly autumnal Somerset Uk, I have the biggest grin whenever you are on my screen. Thank you x
Wow, I love crazy amusement park rides, but that ride out had me on the edge of my seat at times! I thought, I sure am glad you gave the note at the beginning that let me know you all would make it all the way out safely! 🤗🤗 That one stray hair standing up on your head while you were recapping your "adventurous ride" as you ate your salad seemed like the only sign of the time you had gone through! 😂😂 I know you had a shower etc., but I'm always cracking myself up with little nuances my mind creates a story around! 😊 Well, it's midnight now for me and I better go to sleep so I can get up for work in the morning! Thanks for my mini vacation on a Sunday night from my own bedroom 🥰🥰 Tracey from San Diego! ❤
I’ve thought about getting a mini van for more room but your driving experience is exactly why I’m happy to keep my Subaru Outback with the good tires and traction. It’s also important to inflate them correctly. I live in WV so those roads don’t seem so bad to me although certainly not what I do daily! Good attitudes ladies, why I think traveling with someone else is so helpful. Enjoy the caravan.
OMG you two are so funny!!!! The first van purchase were all terrain tires. After seeing what the desert in Quartzsite looks like. I've had experience growing up where I had to drive up a dirt road that was full of ruts and rocks. Definitely needed to keep the speed up but don't lose control. 😆😆. Great story Luanne!! You had the perfect attitude, don't worry about it. I look forward to the next adventure with the HOWA Caravan. Stay safe. 😎😎
Also I wanted to tell you, I have a top exactly like the one Luanne is wearing in this video. I was shocked to see it. Would send you a pic but don’t know how.
Congratulations ladies!!! You made it. So grateful Luanne"s tire adventure turned into a great story. Thanks for the ride ladies, looking forward to more updates.
Great video, Lulu! Love your traveling buddy, Luanne, & her tire blow out story. Not sure I could’ve remained as calm, cool & collected under similar circumstances. By the way, Lulu… I really like your hair growing out a little. You look amazing! 🥰

I love your videos! Thanks so much for sharing your experiences. I’m still working 8 months a year, and travel the other 4 in a van. Watching your adventures makes me so excited to hit the road. I was thinking I needed to change gears to that 1 or 2 that I see there, but I've never in my life switched to those numbers and wasn't sure what to do, so I just did my thing! 😊
My husband taught me how to drive in the mountains or I would not have known😊
Wow I am so thankful Luanne was safe even though she had a blow out! I absolutely love sharing in your adventures. Be safe ladies!
You ladies are having a great time! Fun fun fun.
❤ Good Day Lulu 😊🌄🌞 Sounds like your riding the Stage Coach!😆🤞
Whew...i think you both are badass women!! Strength..courage and joy seem to be your mantle's!! Lived in Pahrump(water from rock) for 8 years..kniw that stretch well!! Luanne sitting on the side of the road..what a sight..great story!! I would have been traumatized!😅
How fun you two are! Thank you for sharing your exciting story! Glad you're okay!
Your friend is quite the comedian! I couldn't stop laughing after I saw the actual blown out tire!
I love you ladies out having so much fun on your own and enjoying life. It is one adventure after another for you all. Hope you meet some more fun people on this leg of the journey. You are the greatest.
thanks so much Sally for your sweet positive note! I appreciate it! Lulu ❤️
Glorious sunset. What a wonderful adventure you are having together. New places, new friends and so many laughs. Enjoying the trip vicariously. 🦋

Wow that drive had me at the end of my seat lol thank you for sharing your amazing journeys, and I live in Vegas / Henderson border😊 ❤️🙏💫
so glad you are enjoying our journey!! oh we'll be back in Henderson this weekend for showers at Planet Fitness!! 💕
@@LulusWay64 Omg !!! I would love to meet you if our times permit 🙏🏽

Love, Love love Luanne's spirit! Such great energy from the two of you! Stay well and keep us smiling!
Wow! I’d probably get lost!
yeah, that's what I thought too. this dispersed camping and finding specific spots in the middle of nowhere, was a learning curve. we're getting really good at it!! 😊
Beautiful Lulu ❤ But it sounded like you were driving a horse and buggy with all those big rock and bumps. You two ladies would be a hoot to hang out with. I love watching this videos thanks for taking us us along. Get those tires checked and have fun!
good morning from missouri💙
What a nice surprise in the middle of the night! You gals had me laughing out loud!! Thank you for sharing your wonderful adventures! 🙏🏻😘💞 (Big Bear Lake, CA)
hi Janna!! so glad you got a good laugh, thanks for writing!! Lulu 💕
Man! Luanne was FLYING down that dirt road! 😮😂
that footage was sped up, we were traveling about 5 mph
Wow! What a great adventure you two are having!! And what positive attitudes too. Love and blessings ♥️🙏
See some more van tweaks coming up. 🥰 So glad everything worked out for you Luanne ❤ You were able to keep yourself safe. Small world; you two have to behave yourselves. Wishing you continued happy adventures. 🥰
oh yes, I have a long list of "tweaks" for when I get back home!!! EXCITING!!
How amazing for you 2!!!
Thanks for keeping' it real!!!!! So glad I found your channel recently. loved the tour of your "appartment"
thanks!! I'm glad you found my channel too!! 😊
What fun Lulu!🌝
What a ride! You are two wild and crazy girls!😂❤😂❤Just kidding! Both your attitudes are amazing. I laughed and prayed for your safety at the same time. 😅 Thank you Lulu for taking the time to share.🎉🎉🎉
So love this vlog! Love the humor and positivity! And fab views!
I love both your stories! Cracking me up. Looks like a wonderful group ❤️
Talk about two BAD ASS peas in a pod. I’m so happy I found your channel, Lulu. It’s simply joyful❣️🤗
hello Dawn, I'm happy you found my channel too!! thanks for writing! Lulu 😊
Thank you x
Thanks for sharing looks like your both having a great time.❤
Love your adventures 👍
hello Mary!! glad you enjoyed the video and feel inspired!! hope to see you on the road one day!! Lulu 💕
Lulu you are proof that we can eat healthy no matter where we are!!!❤❤❤
YES!! if it's important, if it's a priority, it will always take priority
I am so proud of you Louanne. You did real good. Thank you both for sharing your trip. Can’t wait to see your rig
Miss Lulu thanks for sharing that bumpy ride with us.
We now know what it’s like to be driving in that part of the world.😮❤
I’ve thought about getting a mini van for more room but your driving experience is exactly why I’m happy to keep my Subaru Outback with the good tires and traction.
Stay safe. 😎😎
Theres good oeople everywhere! Great story, gals. Another reason, too, why you need a hefty emergency fund!
Hi guys, this is a great video. I am very impressed and inspired by you ladies. You just might see me one day out on the camping trail of life.
hi Mary!! sure hope we see you on the road one day!! thanks for writing!! Lulu 💕
That is SOME DRIVE! Good job, Lulu. I've driven on roads like that. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes on your continuing journeys. 🤩
Hi Muriel, I’m a Murial too! 😁
Such a delight.
Hi Lulu & Luanne
Great video. Enjoyed every minute of it. Safe travels.
so glad you enjoyed it, Mary!! 😊
Also I wanted to tell you, I have a top exactly like the one Luanne is wearing in this video. I was shocked to see it. Would send you a pic but don’t know how.
Congratulations ladies!!! You made it. So grateful Luanne"s tire adventure turned into a great story. Thanks for the ride ladies, looking forward to more updates.
hi Tracy!! yes, that lady always has a good story!! thanks for writing!! Lulu 💕
Great video, Lulu! Love your traveling buddy, Luanne, & her tire blow out story. Not sure I could’ve remained as calm, cool & collected under similar circumstances.
By the way, Lulu… I really like your hair growing out a little. You look amazing! 🥰
thanks so much!!
Glad things worked out for Luanne. 💕🙏🏻
Hey, lady, I for one am so glad you turned your camera around so I can see where you are going! Yeah! I love this road trip with you!😊💜
You two are just so fun. So glad you kept cool. You kept it real. It so interesting that setting in my chair I have learned so much. Thank you guys guys for sharing. Be safe Be Happy
Wow it’s always great to hear about good helpful folks 😊
I love your videos! Thanks so much for sharing your experiences. I’m still working 8 months a year, and travel the other 4 in a van. Watching your adventures makes me so excited to hit the road. Y’all are an inspiration. I’m in my early 50s and decided to start living a lifestyle that allows me to travel and have adventures now that my kids are off doing their own thing. I see you and the women you travel with and I definitely feel like I’m entering my best years. I love that you share your healthy lifestyle and diet. Nutrition is absolutely the key to staying strong and empowered.❤❤
traveling 4 months a year when in your early 50s is a true gift!! enjoy it and stay inspired!! 💕
I am so glad you filmed the ride out from Lake Mead. Now we all know and feel how rocky and treacherous it really was! You have taken us on every road you travelled and it felt like we were really with you! Hats off to you two! How brave and trusting and blessed you are. Then came the tire blow out! Your friend is an amazing lady and such a great travel companion! She always turns everything to the positive! God bless you both! Safe travels and safe home! Patricia
