Love myself a little tapping! How about a video where you show how you go about recording a "normal" bass? Like plugins you use for it, in the mix tricks , what is a good bass tone and what isn't , etc. Cheers
@BrendonKPadjasek awesome!!! That would be so sick!! Im always struggling to get a good mix on my screams with stock plugins due to my lack of knowledge. And most tutorials are generally using expensive plugins. Btw, absolutely loved hearing you on the new northlane song!!!!
This is the tutorial thousands of people needed keep going, and please do more tutorials like this to help artists or casual players to express themselves creatively. :)
Thank you so much! I decided a while ago that I don't want to become another Review channel and I'd much rather show tips and techniques to help other musicians out. Are there any specific videos you'd like me to make?
Cool man even for someone dabbling in tapping, this gave me some ideas for my currently unfinished song. It's more triplet based than straight 8ths and 16ths so some fun things to maybe incorporate 👍
One video I'd love with your spin on it, is how to write drums. Such as, what drum structure looks like, habits when writing parts, how to come up with or implement fills, etc. Amateur guys like me don't need professional levels of writing, just enough to lay an idea down for song structure. A video that did a really good video on it with how it laid out information was How to write drums for non drummers by 8 bit music theory. Would love to see your spin on it. Your multicam video was huge for me and helped me make awesome videos.
Oh sick I can definitely do something like that. I have quite a few videos on writing drums if you haven’t seen any of those I’d say check them out first and I can work towards the other one Thanks for the suggestion
@@BrendonKPadjasek Yeahp your ML riff video is great on this and gives a lot of perspective, a more dedicated video would just be content idea if you're ever in a creative rut, plus would be more algorithm friendly.
@@BrendonKPadjasek Stuff like how to go about making more fleshed out tapping riffs like those found in songs like Pray For Rain (Polaris) and Luminescence (Erra). Much appreciated, man!
Yeah exactly like at 2:49 or so with the semitones example. Am still learning how to setup on my own but would be great to have that for trying to practice what you were showing
@1984Anirudh I’ll see what I can do! I also provided a bunch of midi from a contest I held a month ago. If you check my community posts there’s about 51 drum midi tracks with their mapping as well
Excellent video. Inspired me to sit down and jam. Can’t play at the moment which sucks but……oh well. Gotta say though man, the action on that baritone 6 at the beginning looked painfully high, how do you do it?
Thank you my friend! I’m using the ML Sound Lab newest drum edition mostly. Most of the kit and cymbals are from the Yamz expansion and I’m mixing each track individually in Ableton. I have 1 hour video about how I mix metal stuff with a great portion towards drums Thanks so much for checking it out!
@@BrendonKPadjasek Thanks, I will check it out! I especially love how punchy and "right in the face" the bass drum is, I`ve been trying to get that sounds for a while now:)
Thanks for checking out this tapping tutorial. Let me know what you'd like me to cover next!
Im not sure if you've already done this in a video, 10 stock ableton plugins and ways to use them like expensive plugins? That would be pretty cool
@ThisxFate oh yeah I’ve been meaning to make a “stock plugin mix” kind of video. Great idea!

Oh that’s awesome. Yeah I mean there’s definitely so many options out there with signatures and ways to use the techniques. Glad to give some ideas!
Love how regular these vids are again. Great lesson, fire tone too ;)
Hahaha thank you my sir! I finally have some free time again
I love spreading hate and negativity as much as anyone, but damn this video was so good there is literally nothing to hate on. 10/10
Hahaha this is the best comment I’ve ever received. Thank you so much my man! Glad to change it up a bit for you.

always come with useful videos. Amazinggg!!!

More tapping riff lessons please!
Anything specific tapping wise?

Love it dude!!
Hey thanks for watching! I figured opposed to just showing how to tap, showing how to use the technique might be more helpful.
@@BrendonKPadjasek100%. I love your approach here! I’ll be hanging around ;)
@MetalForgeLegends stoked to hear that. Thanks!
Any chance you could share some of the backing tracks? This is a great tutorial btw, super helpful and what I’ve been looking for!

Thanks so much! It was a custom Acacia guitar. Terribly made tbh hahaha
Excellent video. Inspired me to sit down and jam. Can’t play at the moment which sucks but……oh well. Gotta say though man, the action on that baritone 6 at the beginning looked painfully high, how do you do it?
The tuning is very low so the strings go down pretty easily. But thanks stoked I inspired you to jam after this one
