Art Vandelay Blacki Lawless does,Dio lost little of his voice when he got older But Blackie Lawkess has the same voice that he had in the 80s,like he didnt get older
Lol. What a ridiculous question. Can you imagine how many people listen to Black Sabbath and this is also their favourite song? There must be at least 500,000 people in the world who classify this as their favourite song. Much love from Canada 🇨🇦
If you look through the comments and see just how many people from the crowd of this very concert still keep coming back to this video, all these years later, it shows you just what an amazing experience and truly memorable night that was. I'm so happy I too am one of these people. :-) Where are my fellow W:O:A'09-People? 😄🤘
I love him!!! He's one of the few ones singing even better at his older age. That's because he was a true singer. What an orgasmic voice. I love you Ronnie!
It's a bitter sweet and a little heart wrenching to watch this video knowing Ronnie is gone but you can hear it in his vocals that his illness was taking its toll on his body. He sung his ass off in this show but you can hear the frailty in his voice. God Rest his Soul.
kaf051 Glad to hear that, Maybe not a big man but if I had 0.1% of his voice and talent I would be proud. Saw him at the Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham as Dio. Amazing/
Yes he was, the doctors didn’t discover the cancer until it was stage 4, but they predicted he possibly had it for a couple years before them discovering it.
They're inspiring me so much! The singer who'll die in less than a year, the guitarist without a parts of fingers, and do I still have some reasons not to do what I love?!..
THE GREATEST SOUND i'VE EVER HEARD STILL TO THIS DAY......I'll NEVER STOP LOVING THE SOUND OF TONY LOMMI....HE COMPLETLY WENT IN ON FULL GOD MODE SINCE I FIRST HEARD HIM. FUCK WHAT YOU SAY... HE IS THE ABSOLUTE GREATEST I'VE EVER HEARD AND I'VE HEARD THEM ALL!!!!! Complete LEGEND !!!!!!
Melhor voz do heavy metal. 🇧🇷🤘
Oh how I miss Ronnie n his talent...he put Sabbath on a whole other level, the originals started it all in all its funky, jazz jamming but after the first guy was Fired, the guy steps in. Tony Iommi became a "new" guitarist...lightning did strike twice...Dio forevermore
Not really apples and oranges. More like apples to the entire fruit isle. The thing is, I prefer Dio's covers of Ozzy's sabbath songs. I think he sings them better. I do for damn sure that If Ozzy covered Dio's songs it wouldnt be good.
Those Laney amps sound killer!!! Sabbath has influenced more bands than any other in metal history!!! Dio could sure work a crowd. He'll be forever missed. Timeless treasures to say the least!!! God speed to the rest of Black Sabbath!!!
one of the best Bands ever look alone at there musicians fantastic line up and realy good guys:) i love it:) for me there are 3 of the greatest musicians all ever in that Band !!! R.I.P. Ronny!!!
I'd do anything to sing that riff along with Dio. No one knows how he managed to sing like that, he was and will always be the greatest metal vocalist in the history of mankind. Sabbath days are over now, it's a long way now without the legends, I hope there is a moment again for all the fans to witness the Godfathers of metal. We miss you RJD!
Great tour! I saw this show at the Greek Theater in LA! My only regret is that i passed on better eats to spare a few bucks ! RIP Ronnie ! Thank you for being there for me through my childhood !
My buddy got me and him front row tickets to Heaven and Hell at the Greek theater in LA in 2009. The day of the show, I came down with a case of swine flu. What a bummer.
The thing I respected most about Ronnie James Dio was that he never had to resort to using the 'F-Bomb' on stage. I've never heard him use it one time. That's class!
He died the following year. Truly the most consistent voice in the genre up until his unfortunate demise. Some would argue his "voice changed slightly" in his final years but this is a guy closer to 70 than to 60 and you have to be incredibly nittpicky to determine change.
@@AnnWahlquist IT is actually a major compliment he was simply awesome to the end singing in that manner for decades and the fact that he had it to the very end is something to celebrate and be proud of I am sticking rocking at 54 only hope my voice can old out as long as DIO.
At the top of their fucking game.....goddamn amazing!! It sorrows me to know that I may live in a world without these men one day. Long may they live and RIP RJD!!! \m/ \m/
I've seen Sabbath maybe 5 times, and always wondered how is it Tony Iommi can wear black leather on stage during an Arizona summer and not sweat? Gods don't sweat!
Geezer's bass line makes this song. Spine chilling tone!
This song as a granite rock solid rhythm foundartiion
Iommi. Masterful.
Butler. Amazing.
Appice. Seamless.
DIO. Sublime.
This is Black Sabbath on steroids.
😁😁😗😎😎😎😎😎
the most powerful Sabbath lineup..!
I was waiting for more as soon as he started ..What a style
Tony Iommi: First guitar player that made me be a METAL HEAD! LONG LIFE TO THE KING OF RIFFS!!!!
First Guitarist to play heavy metal

That Voice, its just wow. 67 years old or something here. And no one in rock is even close to that power.
ab-so-fuckin-lutely, dude, NOBODY comes close to this GOD'S voice and power...
He sang from the heart. Sounding like that requires absolute confidence that everyone should be able to hear you, no room for FUD.
Art Vandelay Blacki Lawless does,Dio lost little of his voice when he got older But Blackie Lawkess has the same voice that he had in the 80s,like he didnt get older
yeah agree Blackie still has amazing voice.
rob halford
My most favorite song ever. Am I alone?
Nobody who has ever listened to this song shall ever be alone.
Yeah that’s a great song. From 1975 till 2010 Dio composed great songs.
Lol. What a ridiculous question. Can you imagine how many people listen to Black Sabbath and this is also their favourite song? There must be at least 500,000 people in the world who classify this as their favourite song.
Much love from Canada 🇨🇦
It’s so good I listen to it each day and I had the record in 1980

WTF. My mind is blown to shreds. And this is the Modified Version. For the love of good this man was born to ply electric guitar.
That was one of their best career shows. They performed music in a very creative and lively manner.

Ronnie. A true gentleman of rock without any ego to satisfy whatsoever. ..... when you are the best I guess you dont need to prove it!
Never has a walk back to the camping ground been more glorious.
The whole crowd chanting when this concert was over, still gives me the chills.
so true 🤘
that bit at 6:11 is immense... total dynamic change, and the crowd feel it.
Well after such a solo, how can you not have a crush on him.
Great concert

Always felt that Iommi raised his game when playing with Ronnie. Evidence is right here. Don't believe me? Look at the 13 tour with Ozzy....
you are so right just listen to heaven n hell lead and bass flowing like a river thru avalon, it rises and lowers like an orgasm
The whole band had a better sound to it.
