This is stunning,Leanne!! A very unique way to follow this project. Love the book😍 It's really interesting how each one's personality emerges from what we end up doing with these prompts. Love that you have planted a tree for your dear ones,we certainly need a return to nature in this world! Thank you very much❤!
Thanks so much Giusi! It is fascinating watching everyone's unique take on the project. One of the reasons I bought our current home is that it has trees. It is so rare to have trees around homes here nowadays. We need trees! 😊
Hi Leanne, thankyou so much for sharing your beautiful work. Just loved everything in your video so peaceful and relaxing watching you stitch and hearing you. ❤
Beautiful, creative, absolutely stunning, inspiring. Leanne did I say how much I enjoyed watching you create your page it truly is a work of art . My morning cup of tea went cold as I could not take my eyes away . Enjoyed everything about your video and loved the story behind your creation. Off to make a hot cuppa and rewatch your video. ❤❤❤have a lovely weekend.
Wow! Thank you very much Joanne. You have made my weekend! I felt pretty chuffed with this video, but of course I am biased.😂 So I am so happy it appeals to others too. 😌
Absolutely wonderful Leanne - such a legacy for your loved ones in those beautiful trees and a joy to spend this time with you. So happy you are embracing your handwriting. I think it’s really lovely if we can capture own our touches in these field notes. Cheers, Christine 💙🧵🪡
Thanks Christine. I love seeing snippets of handwriting by my loved ones who have passed. It is so personal and unique. When I see it, I feel connected to them. So I figured that even though my writing has gone downhill somewhat in this digital age, it is mine and I wanted this project to have that personal connection. 😊
Leanne that is absolutely gorgeous I love your handwriting and the seed pod pin cushion. I've always planted things in the garden for loved ones but never on such a large scale that's a fantastic idea and it's a beautiful tree. I'm a daydreamer too, it's a wonderful to escape and relax. Elizabeth 💖
We have a rose for each of our mums in our garden. It is such a wonderful initiative of our council to supply trees for planting in remembrance. They have been doing it in different suburbs for a few years now. 😊
Such a peaceful and enjoyable video! Love your piece💕 and the pin cushion is adorable! Will certainly enjoy watching your progression with this beautiful project🥰
Beautiful.. I love how you are studying your area.. my sea journal will take me off on adventures too I think! This project is going to be great. Corrine
So much fun to go exploring and bring back the inspiration and put it in our work! Such a great idea of yours to do the two journals. Really looking forward to exploring your area through your videos too. 😊
thanks so much for the shout out Leanne 🤗 I love your work you first inspired me 😂 love your wattle flower excited to see more. stunning page that super cute gum nut😍
Thank you Becca! I have my spring bulb video coming out in the next hour. Then I am looking forward to catching up on everyone’s videos for this project. 😊
Hi Leanne, Your little journal is really coming along so beautifully! The idea of the gumnut pincushion is super cute too! I always look forward to seeing the wattle in August , I think of it as the beginning of spring even though it is technically not spring. Wattle has to be my favourite wildflower.
I’m bursting with excitement Leanne, this video is so lovely…… Think I need to add another book to my collection….. how did you make those yellow flower? Can I ask what colour pen is that, I love your handwriting it looks an antique feel. You title page is awesome, I love hearing your voice Leanne is to soothing, Im to quick. I will take so much inspiration from your video.. In Perth we have KINGS PARK in the city and when I was there a few months ago there was a big gum nut and I wanted to do something with it, now I know what to do. 😊
Thank you very much Kristy! I love that I have given you an idea for your gum nut. I loved Kings Park when we visited Perth. Beautiful and great views from there as well. The pen I used is Tombow brand Fudenosuke brush pen with a hard tip in the colour, brown. Internally, my brain is spinning. Crafting and creating these videos are my way of slowing that spin down and making my brain calm and focus!!! Isn't this the best project for seeing and celebrating what everyone is doing with the prompts? I love your excitement in your videos and seeing your ideas come to life. 😊
Hi Leanne, beautiful creativity, may I ask how you stop the actual live blossom from drying out ?? I really enjoyed your video, stunning - thank you ... Deb Qld
Thank you very much Deb. That live blossom is dried out. It was larger blossoms that shrivelled. No doubt they will deteriorate further as they age. (Don’t we all?!😂) I am curious to see what will happen to the fresh picked leaves and if they dry and shrink the same way as a piece that hasn’t been stuck with pva. Time will tell. 😊
Absolutely beautiful!!!
Thank you so much, Kathi!😊
