What a beautiful haul Leanne , great idea going into the shop with a list as don’t know about you but I tend to get so distracted and feel like a kid at the candy store wanting everything. Love your colour palette for the pouch , I made one of them and was very pleased how it turned out,and so handy . Looking forward to seeing your completed pouch. And look at those blues almost 50 shades of blues can never have to many . And those do dads love them. ❤oh wanted to add that I recall hobby tex we painted our T shirts when we were kids they were so much fun and very fancy idea at the time .

Hi Leanne, I visited The Sewing Basket recently when I went to the Sydney Quilt and craft fair and found a few lovely things that I would use. Your haul was amazing! I am pretty sure you have used the rose maker and I think your Duchess Embroidery set is the one that may be patiently waiting to be embroidered. I was lucky enough when one of my stitching friends gave me a lovely table cloth set to embroider it truly is beautiful cannot decide whether to combine wool embroidery with it? Tell me what you think?

So beautiful I love how everything is working together. I confess I can only cut a doily or table cloth if they are too damaged to use, otherwise I think they might scream lol. Your beautiful bearded iris fits the journal perfectly. Freesia's have a special place in my heart too, they were my mum's favourite. Elizabeth 💖

I've always planted things in the garden for loved ones but never on such a large scale that's a fantastic idea and it's a beautiful tree. I'm a daydreamer too, it's a wonderful to escape and relax. Love the way you stitched the jonquils (Narcissus jonquilla) , they look so delicate! I’ll try to grow them this Fall , never knew about them but I like fragrant flowers too. The Daffodils seem to grow well in our yard, so maybe the Jonquils will too. Thanks for introducing them to me, Leanne.

Oh, my Leanne, love your Journal, and garden my jonquils are up and blooming in this so unusual weather for us as well in NZ, it's like we never had a winter like last year so mild. I guess we are coming into early spring when I see them pop up and the hyacinths are blooming which is not usual for July. Huge Hugs and Blessings to You and Hubby xx
