      If you know them author maybe you could suggest a follow on to where the art teacher is somehow there at the other side of the void where his other art university was though a portal and the sub gets found by him and he could delve more into this other under the sea 🌊 world exists .....just a thought or wish lol! 😁 Great story though 👌

    The thumbnail to this video is by far my favorite depiction of a sea monster. Something about the darkness and murk. As well as the creature itself
    A lot of sea monster drawings are way too over-designed and clean. Teeth and spines everywhere. The one in this video is perfect though, downplayed and eerie.

    I remember a dream where an Oarfish the size of a whale was slithering on the sea surface that I vividly remember.
    I know it wasn't an Oarfish, but an Oarfish is the closest thing to describing what it was, it moved (as I imagine) a giant snake would move at the surface of the sea and was more snake-like but with Oarfish colouring (so a giant White Sea-Serpent). It didn't seem hostile, nor did it seem like it was going to eat me, yet. More like, it was curious, creeping and slithering up and down the waves around me, as I remained floating in place in the middle of the sea. I wasn't really scared, but it's something so vivid, and something I can't forget. It was like an Oarfish, but also had a snake's head to it, it was more like a Sea Serpent, than a Fish.
    If I remember correctly, dreaming of a certain animal consuming you or allowing an animal to consume you is a good sign, compared to scaring it off, not sure why, but I think it has to do with you finding your inner source of power when it does eat you, and not finding it when you scare it off, if you believe in that sort of thing, I'm not particular either way.
    All I know is, the dreams I don't forget, often involve impossibly big or gargantuan sized versions of things I see, so when I dream of a Hotel, I dream of a hotel the size of a city, and when I dream of skyscrapers, they reach into the sky miles and miles high into the clouds.
    Been years, and I still dream of giant buildings, but I don't often dream of Giant animals. I'm not sure why it's only buildings now, but when I was a teenager I'd dream of all kinds of beings, animals, living beings. Sometimes Supernatural, like Vampires, or indescribable dark beings the size of dinosaurs chasing me in the shadows, I can't describe them, as they were obscured in darkness, but I knew by the sound of their footsteps chasing me in the dreams that they were massive. I'd always end up dead in those dreams, but I didn't mind, something about confronting these beings was strength in itself, as if the confrontation itself I had with them, was enlightening, empowering.

      I sort of feel like there's something about dreaming these sort of "sacrifice" dreams makes things so much more daunting, and hopeless. But for some reason when I dream of these sort of "sacrifice" dreams, I don't feel worried at all. I just feel immense wonderment and curiosity for discovering these obscure sorts of dreams involving my inevitable demise in them, at the hands of something impossible.

    • @cthulhufhtagn2483
      @cthulhufhtagn2483 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@InVinoVeratas I can totally see that. It's almost like the sacrifice itself isn't the point - like it's payment for being able to see these creatures and places.
      I have a bit of a fascination with dreams, honestly. The world they show, and the sort of feeling they have that describes something that could never _be_ real, but isn't diminished for it.

    Really strange the art that children choose to do. I terrified one of my teachers at school when I was aged about 6, I can't remember what I SHOULD have been doing but it certainly WASN'T art related. I was so proud of my creation that I went to show it to the teacher, it was a (for a 6yr old) a beautifully done pencil portrait of a German soldier during the Battle of Stalingrad. At the time I had no idea where Stalingrad was, or the significance of the battle. VERY strange choice of subject matter for a British child!

    Where is the horror? All that happened was the MC crazy women got her self and two others killed through her delusions. Unless her fall into madness is the horror? Good read though.

    It just doesn't get any better than this. Sea monster stories, for me, will always be by far the most entertaining. Thanks man. Cheers.

    Yeah sorry crazy lady, there's nothing too interesting down there. The world is generally far more mundane and boring than we goofy humans like to think.

    Well that turned out to be silly and pointless. How disappointing. Even your superb narration couldn't make sense of it.

    Not much of a deep-sea creepypasta, tbh.
