The whole time I was waiting for the twist or the turn, turns out it was an ordinary Ghost story I can't tell you how much I appreciate the variety of stories you narrate Skott.
I've got to admit, NaturesTemper, you are an absolute master of vocalization. You can pull off nearly every accent under the sun, now you can perfectly imitate animal noises? Insane

Ok, I haven't listened yet, but I have to comment on the title. I've never been without a dog, usually multiple ones, in my life. They damn sure lie. They're not all GOOD at it, but they try. Huskies and Malamutes are better at it than most lawyers and politicians. I had one that, at the mere mention of a bath, the lightest touch would send them flopping worse than Lebron James, John Stockton or Angel di Maria. And that's just ONE example of how dogs lie.

I have a shiba. On our walks, if Sora sees someone interesting (human, dog) she will stop and start pretending to be itchy, while constantly glancing over to see how far away from us they still are. 😂

Same here. My rottweiler rarely barks at nothing, sometimes it's because delivery guy dropped something on the front porch but she normally only barks when someone knocks or because she heard a legitimate noise. If she barks at night or really early I always let her out since I trust her with my life. Sometimes she hears people before theyve pulled into the long shared driveway, sometimes theres a pest in the yard, sometimes she even hears strangers walking up the driveway. Shes killed a few rabbits and keeps away solicitors so its win win

Dude...that "Mommy!" creepy voice you did was so disturbing that when I listened to it, my cat bounced outta the room 😰 I really hope she doesn't have nightmares now....cats got mad anxiety/separation issues as it is, my poor lil meowzors 😢 Good story though!

And this was called "Dogs Never Lie" because...? Yeah, there were dogs, but it's not like they revealed anything. Protag knew right away something was up. I was expecting this to be a "dogs don't like the stranger, turns out stranger is spooki ghost" thing.

My dog lies!! She rings the bell to go outside (to go bathroom)) when we watch any tv shows because she’s mad that we pay more attention to the TV than her!! (It’s not like we ignore her, we will pet her and it’ll just be one movie or 20 min show, so she’s just being a goblin lol)
