Interesting. Architecture design and also sometimes painting can also work this way of pre- visualizing. There is the story of Architect Frank Lloyd Wright who had a client that was traveling from the East Coast to Taliesin I believe, and his employees or disciples were asking him when he was going to do the drawings, and I think he waited until just 3 to 4 hours before the client got there and started drawing the plans. When the client got there the drawings were ready to be reviewed, Maybe not full working drawings but the conceptual ideas. So he worked them out and his head first and then finally gave birth when he had to.
I am an architect but also a landscape painter and sometimes when I go out to paint landscapes I will formulate a general design in sketches, and that design is what I try to stick to. If it’s a big painting sometimes I will do a little study first to make sure the idea will work before I spend several days working on it. Thanks for these concepts. Namaste.

That's really insightful buddy :) I always firmly believe that to progress in any artform, the idea of previsualization is so important, way more than being creative. More often than not creativity becomes a consequence of forced intentions, rather than a branch that stems from the roots of previsualization. So yeah, I've always been self aware of that, and have always kept training it every day :)
