    So maybe you've heard of this Qi wireless charging? The ability to simply set down your phone on a mat of some sort and it just magically charges. It's been around for a while actually--slowly gaining supported devices. But, now, with the latest iPhones adopting it, in addition to it already being widely adopted by tons of phone manufacturers like Samsung, LG, etc. and other industry giants like Starbucks and IKEA, it's probably safe to say it's a good time to get familiar with it.

    Also it prevents the constant problem of breaking or wearing out the ports on your phone if you attempt to use your phone or other device while charging/synching. It is really convenient and for me prevents damage or excessive wear.

    I charge my iPhone with a 10 foot cable on my bed while I sleep. Until Qi can reach 10 feet wireless, I'll pass.

      Use an extender socket cable (or how it's called) power strip idk. 5 meter long for example. As i use one that's bout 2M Long with 3 holes that i have next to me n use for plugging in whatever i need

    • @kushpaladin
      @kushpaladin 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can keep using your 10 feet cable, for sure. But I think a wireless charger could come in handy when using your computer, as your phone is down on the desk and you have to look down on it to check it. An upright wireless charger let's you view notifications while on your computer

      @@kushpaladin you could just as easily plug it in at the desk lol.

    Wireless charging technology is great with my iPhone, but I’ve got a question about its capabilities.
    You know how some third party controllers like the Backbone use a phone’s charging port to power on. Is it possible to use Qi-tech to power third party devices through our phones in a similar fashion?

    I've read some common complaints. Don't get the flat puck, instead get the angled chargers. My phone is sitting next to my monitor, I can see notifications, calls or you name it. Plus it doesn't wear out your USB.
