Question: There was a performance of him performing a Triumph-style trick, which has him referring to Alexandre Dumas and the Three Musketeers -- very literary magician, Gabi -- posted to an Instagram account devoted to his work. Any idea if that has been published anywhere?
Thanks for your feedback! I really appreciate that. Gabi wrote a whole book on the Triumph effect which included 10 versions starting with Dai Vernon's. It was an excellent study of the plot. Regarding the version you are talking about - The Three Musketeer one that was posted online. I am not sure if it is in print anywhere but I did see it online and of course - I immediately recognized the method. Technically, It's a well known, aka 'user friendly' version.
