I know you quote the temp as what the wind chill is but my boss when I drove, said "wind chill doesn't affect equipment".right or wrong I always made sure fuel and filters never gelled cause it wasn't him that was sitting on the side of the road in the cold.keep on trucking,my friend and rub that beautiful German.

Here on the west coast we get a taste of what comes your way so, at least you know what's coming. Unless it comes from Canada, That's great news about Paige. She will do just fine. I see a lot of new freeways and bridges being built. It will be interesting how everything that is going on will play out Stay safe and WARM.

CONGRATS PAIGE ‼️this has been the most crazy weather in February. If, you could find a $ dollar store you could get tupperware cheap. I was also thinking that you could warm up the wet food for Opie, would mix easier and he may like it that way. Get some gloves to put on when giving him them treats, or I found wet wipes with lemon and it will take care of that smell. Drive safe stay warm 😊🐾🦮🐕‍🦺🌬❄️🥶

34:57 After more than three trillion turns on landing gear handles, one would think that by now, there's be an easy up/down (portable drill) fitting, which would enable the more savvy truckers to use a fast motor driver, such as a De-Walt (or Makita) driver with socket/chuck - to wind them useless landing gear handles, instead of the old-school, bust yer' gut and AROUND & around ye go - twiddling them handles ..

Could even install an inlet like on the outside of a camper. that way your cooler and refrigerator would still work and batteries won't go dead. Just a thought.

0:31 Yes I hear that, it's the sound of a DEISEL motor getting insufficient fuel injected as it has water-polluted-fuel, in it's lines - with the water freezing into ice and inhibiting the fuel pump's ability to pressurize the injectors correctly, hence you have "pinking/knocking noises far above the regular "diesel knocking sound" one gets with cold engines at start-up / idle.
Oh sure replace the fuel filters, as that will work for about the first twenty liters of fuel - that they filter any "bad water contamination" out of, after that - your motor SHOULD be hot enough and possibly under load too - as you go driving along the highway - for you to not "notice" the knocking sound again.
    ...
You sir have water in your fuel tanks which needs to be 'drained" - so that you ONLY have diesel going to the filter - not ice crystals floating along in that contaminated fuel..
    ...
    Oh and what ?
FROZEN AIRLINE - are you mad sir?
Your airlines as you put it, come from the HUGE air-cleaner at the side of your cab - through HUGE fully open airways - which is UNLIMITED AIR, going to your motor - and is NEVER controlled at any point, not even your throttle (foot pedal) controls ANY AIR, thus it isn't a frozen airline !!!!
    ...
In fact - no diesel has any controlled air (into the motor) which is why a diesel is subject to RUNAWAY - being the uncontrolled "sucked-in" motor oil /sump oil that allows a buggah'ed motor (possibly with at least one cracked ring, or more - or a blown head gasket) to suck into the motor your sump oil - which sadly burns like crazy - when uncontrolled entry into the pistons allows that sump oil to burn uncontrolled (the throttle your truck uses is ONLY a way to control the injected diesel - into the motor - nothing to do with AIR, thus if you had any "frozen" air filter - that truck would be totally silent - with the motor completely unable to run.
    ....
Your car on the other hand - with that low octane of just 87 (?)
It will sound like that - as soon as you floor it / "hit the gas pedal" as it won't have enough power in that low octane fuel to overcome pre-ignition of the petrol.
    p.s:
Diesel oil is HYDROSCOPIC (as well as having a lot of water left in it - during it's manufacturing processes that hasn't been completely removed), meaning that if your truck is left out in the open, or used during wet weather (when the moisture / rain etc., is able to "re-enter" the fuel tanks via the breather vents in the tanks) - your tanks will eventually get a "large quantity" of water sitting in the bottom of them, which can be "sucked up" into your fuel lines - with the result of your fuel filters being overloaded with water to the point of it all "freezing" in the filters, or worse - anywhere in your fuel lines - making the running of the truck after starting - a noise from hell sound.
    ...
Oh & might I also add, that if you "get" enough stray water pooling ANYWHERE in your fuel lines whilst your truck is not running - wherever it sits overnight - you may well discover oh shock horror, EXPLODED fuel pipes, burst by freezing water turning into a "bigger volume" of ice - splitting valuable "plastic" fuel pipes and copper feed lines.
    ...
Just removing a small quantity of water out "at the fuel filers" is NEVER going to remove enough water from your entirely contaminated tank & pipework system, to avoid some very expensive repairs, possibly a long way from civilization (on a cold windy / rain & wet snow-swept /black-ice covered highway) - when it all goes BANG - and your truck motor dies.
These fuel filters are there specifically to remove fine particles of solids (rock dust/ rust etc.,) from clean fuel that has little to zero water contamination
If you are needing to replace filters often (in wet / winter weather) - look to having a good "DRAINING" of your fuel tanks to flush out any water lying in the tanks - & if enough is found there, drain your entire full piping system and air-blow all your after-pump "injector" system as well, to remove as much "ice-forming water as possible.
Simply replacing stuffed filters often in the vain hope of removing all water - is a recipe for disaster out on a lonely highway when you least expect it - when BANG and your motor has serious no-go issues

Thanks for sticking with CAT filters. I have been through many test classes from mother cat years ago and the tests they spent big bucks on to filtration properties VS aftermarket brands. Well yeah the sell the brand but they have the tests to back it up.. Carry on brother
