I will be back for every Faouzia reaction... as I can't get enough of these! ;)

Well Jessica, now you have on YT a lot of videos of this great artist, you have no excuse to give us another of your wonderful analysis of the singers and songs. Thank you very much for all your reactions/analysis, a big hug
Reading your bio... I would suggest the songs Faouzia has written would match up very well with your interests. She has a way of capturing our human existance through her lyrics and music. Maybe have a box of tissues handy.
@@gordonpreece1692 So excited for it I can't wait. She makes me want to go to the store and buy a physical copy of her album so I can have it as a collectible.
Soprano Notes I know.... I listen to her everyday.... her music connects with me very deeply... maybe my age (69)... I have lived through a lot of what her current songs convey.... many of them give me pretty watery eyes... 😊 Also she is from here in Manitoba... not to far from where I live... so I am really rooting for her.
You are right about her live performances. She had planned on having several this summer but had to cancel them. Instead she recorded a concert at a theatre. The youtube link is here th-cam.com/video/vnCi_QV2J48/w-d-xo.html . Even though you are not there it still has the affect you were talking about. She also added a surprise for us after the credits, enjoy.
I didn't expect to watch the whole thing but your voice is so nice to listen to and I really liked the explanations you gave, not understanding much of all the vocal stuff myself. You should definitely listen to the bunch of stripped versions she has of her original songs.
New subbie here because I really love and appreciate how you break down the technique behind the singing, not just gush about how good she is. I discovered Faouzia a few months ago from her collab with Kelly Clarkson where she sang the Arabic version of I Dare You. She has such a gift, and what I find with her voice is she can emote so well with her voice, she knows exactly how to use her vocal instrument to convey the emotion she feels and she takes us as the listener on that journey with her. She did a whole virtual concert recently where she sang all her ‘stripped’ songs, all her original music, and I highly recommend it!
Love what you said. She definitely KNOW her voice. As a singer this can be difficult to achieve at such a young age. Like you already know your direction and what tricks you can give out. It's honestly the one thing most amazing about her. Other singers can also largely do her tricks as well but the way she plays with it so accurately at every song she sang is very impressive
Your reactions are the BEST. I truly, truly enjoy you. BTW - her "yodeling" comes from her Middle Eastern background. It is known as "mawal." Her voice is so influenced by the Arabic language and sounds.
