Well the Maverick-D’s doing no damage don’t do the A-10 any favors. I had a leopard-2 tank 3 of them to the roof machine gun the other day, my gun run did more damage

Hunter, you can enable "Empty weapon containers automatic jettison" in Air Battle Settings at the bottom, that way after you spent all S-13 rockets, for example, empty pod will fall and won't hinder your performance. GG, enjoying your vids!

You can dump missile pods after empty. Just look for auto jettison in setting

Well dodging 10g missles are ez i have been doing that rotate maneuvar all the time in my su-25k just watching the smoke trail but hard thing is if its on snow map its kinda hard to notice the smoke trail of the missle but nice gameplay as always

really wish wt would model the kh29L and kh25ML properly. They are semi active laser guided agm's. Meaning you lase for the first half after launch then the missile will lase the target itself and track itself so you can turn away.
Hey Hunter I saw a comment where there is a keybind to unlock the target designator but it still has the laser so that means that you can track your missile in 3rd person. I’ve done it and it’s so much better

Thanks a lot, AH-1W shines in Ground SB, the biggest threat on the other side is 2s6. And of course if you don't care about Sidewinder much Zunis should be fun against Pantsir S1 in Ground RB.
i just got the su25 and am trying to figure it out in the cas. clearly i've been playing it wrong..... up until now i've been trying to outplay spaa by flying on the deck and using rockets but its impossible to identify targets and line up the run properly for a success.......... this vid helped a lot thank you master. ;)
Yes, it is safer to play at very low altitude and do terrain masking but also you will be blind and you have very little time to spot, aim and launch at any target of opportunity in your approach, it is very inefficient. Good luck in your next sortie my friend :)

@@bone8696 My favorites don't mean they are the best. I love them because they are more iconic. Both Su-39 and Su-25SM3 are better than my favorites.

Hello @Hunter_i86 ! How is your day? Love your videos! Keep up the good job!! I want to ask you what premium I should buy for USSR mig23ml or su25k with the current planes! The only thing that worries me are fox 3s and that there are a lot better planes than the mig. But the su25k is slow(i wanna bomb bases especially with this thing *because it's not good at dogfighting) and I don't think the missles are good(keep in mind I don't have top tier tanks so im not going to use it as cas) Please help me I would really like to hear your opinion!
Hello my friend, at your situation I think you should go with MiG-23ML, you can do good with it in Air RB, and also think about trying it in Air Sim EC, there are days where MiG-23ML, Mirage F1 and F-4S are the maximum planes in the BR rotation so no Fox 3 against you and no AIM-9M as well.

I am a As player from the SMT , for my Was worth , you need to now hoy to use your radar and your missiles, tried to not do dogfight at low speed
Yes:
-Best Russian radar
-Two of the best fox 1 missiles
-Four R-73
-Faaaaaaaaast
-Two Very good KH29TD air to ground missiles with good range on moving targets
-Dogfighting ability isn't the best, but it's definitely usable with HMD and R-73
Overall I like it a lot more than Su-27

Comrade Edouard mentioned very good reasons to obtain the SMT here. I love this plane in Ground RB and Ground SB as well and I don't play Air RB because it is very arcade with all marks and labels. I prefer MiG-29 SMT mainly because of Kh-29TD and the great SPO-150 RWR which Su-27 doesn't have and I'm a CAS pilot after all.
But if you are Air RB player I think the Sukhoi is better for you, the ability to carry 10 air-to-air missiles is something to think about.

However, I have some troubles with it. Mostly - how do you use the guided munitions when your zoom is non-existent? Like I can never properly use my Kh-29L and Kh-25Ls because I cannot for the life of me understand anything inside that scope

hes using the visual identifiers such as hit markers, scout marks and missile trails. Apart from that its impossible to identify targets at range in the su25 without those markers. maybe for young eyes. hes also marking targets from 3rd person persepective as well before he goes into targeting view.
Thanks a lot, as the good gentlemen explained here, my monitor is 27 inches and 2560x1440 resolution which is not very big but also not small at all so it is helping, I can imagine it will be more fun to play WT on a 4k monitor! I hope someday I can get one :)
And of course I use hit markers\scout marks\missile trails to find my SPAA targets and for tanks I try to spot some of them when they capture a zone or when they fire a shell.
@@Hunter_i86 I do follow such markers, but on big maps and low activity battles, it is much harder to find markers appearing
so, I started ignoring guided weapons on su-25(k) and just use S-13 (mostly because i play on a laptop's screen 15.6')
@@mmneaapro596 15.6 is very small, at least for top tier. Try to get 1080p 24 inches monitor and connect it to your laptop, full HD monitors are not expensive these days 👍

I wonder, if the max range of the S-13 rocket is 6km, is that true for all rockets? I swear I’ve made Zuni snipes from further in the Tomcat
I think 6km is the highest range for unguided rockets. Some of them explode at 5km or even less.
Small rocket = short range,
Big rocket = long range,
With ATGM and AGM i think it will show the range in the table like maverick long range 23km or something like that.

A10 premium yes because he have a good zoom where A10 tree don' t have one! Another gaijin bullshit i discover recently after don't understand why some my squad mates said they are ok in warthog vs Tungunska. Where me i can't even see except small dot near 5/6 km with good visibility! And in sim battles...no... better take Corsair2. So for su25k yes more difficult but so more fun
A-10 tree with Maverick D, low zoom but thermal imaging. It has advantages over the premium Warthog in maps like Fulda where the terrain is dark and it is hard to spot targets without thermal imaging.
@@Hunter_i86 if you are at 4km yes above, no. Bad resolution thermic. In many map you can't even see what it is, a mate an ennemy or a dead target. I don't play in Ulq and i made a big series of test with screens on the discord of my squadron for show and proove what i said. With both A10, F4E differencies and Viggen too. The A10 late have same zoom as a clic mouse wheel in third view of a plane, so near Zéro. And with his Br, always face too Op low br 2S6!
In youtube, more than 85% of vidéos of A10 are Always the premium, you have both so know what i speak but maybe you forget exactly. I make bug/report issues so if you want support it for gaijin change that.
I can't post screen(don't know hiw), so go look "Orbixs A-10 (late) warthog - close air support in ground RB" video for a good exemple. Just the begining of the vid is eneugh.
