Thank you very much for this video. That was the very first question that came up when I saw the T4 bonus Resto Druid. I've been raiding with Ekowraith for a few months now only for its stats, and 282K heals every 5 secs isn't something you can just ignore. I'm really glad that finaly its useability has now highly increased. It's actually the 1st legendary I upgraded to 1000 ilvl. I'm not going to test it, it's final that this is going to be my BiS chest. T19 4-bonus had also a 10% heal increase, so I don't see the reason not to go with the chest, since you hit the same percentage increase.
The only bad I could think, is that instead of an instant real heal automatically applied to someone it needs it, you get a hot, which means high chance of overhealing. But I guess the mastery increase of the hot compensates the loss cause of the overhealing. Taking that into account, here is another reason you should use Ekowraith, to limit the healing loss, till the target is topped up.
Currently I have been trying Prydaz and ECoW chest and I think a lot of people underestimate the synergy strength of that combination. I sat down one night and did stat weights of all the druid legendaries. What I saw was the chest has a HUGE stat weight value over the other legendaries. People put down the chest because the heal from Yersa's is not very high. However the static stat (like a extra stat stick) increase makes up for a lot of that especially on constant damage fights. You get increased healing from Yersa (not the best if you count JUST Yersa and nothing else). But aside from a static stat increase most people totally forget when calculating it's value to include Thick Hide increase. Your gaining an "extra" %4 damage mitigation with bear affinity! This damage mitigation scales to increase the value of Prydaz's shield an extra %4 and in effect applies this same increase (mitigation) to your entire health pool (the chest has a LOT of extra stam for synergy). So it's important not to JUST look at the chest as ONLY what Yersa gives and absolutely nothing more. A nice static increase and the survival-ability increase is amazing (my preference now for high M+) you'll also live through hits on progression that would absolutely melt almost other class that's not a tank.
Gene Angel I was looking for this comment. The stats on the chest lego is amazing. I mean if you have A bad tier chest the lego chest is just amazing.
I just got my 4 set last night, and I can confirm on Aggramar and Argus heroic progression my Ysera's gift was putting out 11% consistently with the chest. The dreamer heal was putting out ~4-5%. I'm using the chest at the moment because I had to free up my helm slot (normally reserved for Chameleons song) for my last set piece. That being said, I'm super impressed by the chest. It makes Ysera's gift my 2nd/3rd top heal, besides rejuv and wild growth, and it's nice because it's a free heal, and I've noticed my mana consumption has eased up a bit. I'm happy using the chest until I can get a tier chest piece, then I'll have to make the decision between Chameleons or Ekowraith (I don't have prydaz)
I think that the chest and the prydaz are going to be our best legos for M+ when it come for higher M+, because of the bear affinity. Also the tier 21 have a lot of crit so we can go for the back from lower kara < Drape of Shame> .
What are your thoughts on running 4 set tier 21 and 2 set tier 19?

These numbers will probably be even better on live. Think about things like, then this video was done deamer was not affected by crit and haste etc. Dreamer will be able to be extended with flourish, and boosted by Ghanir. Simply put, you will not just see an increase in healing of Ysera's Gift and the addition of Dreamer, but this tier set will compound the healing of your other hots through mastery, and increase the value of flourishes and Ghanirs. Mastery is definitely going to remain, and probably increase, in value. I think all resto druids should be excited for a good tier set, as long as there are no nerfs prior to release. Numbers can be deceiving since pydaz has no int and the chest has the 2nd highest next to the trinket. The chest also has 3000 sta which helps yesera's gift ( the higher you hp the more you will heal) the int difference will also help all of you healing spells do more healing as well!
There is one thing you forget. Chest also gives you %4,5 all damage reduction if you have guardian affinity.
Why are shoulders not a viable option ? I know we will lose T19 but i think the hot from T21 is affected by crit, haste and mastery.
This could give value to our rejuvs.
Point of this tier set was to buff overall healing with mastery, not to make ysera gift top healing spell.
I might be wrong but in encounters where there will be a constant raid wide AOE w/o Prydaz you will be rarely topped. The Ysera's Gift will heal only you and refresh the Dreamer's hot on you over and over again. The perfect scenario would be 4p proc with you topped so it will heal multiple people and leave HoT on them. It kinda makes me think that you want to actually wear Prydaz for this tier.
