Searched WGU Nursing and this was the top video. I was not disappointed. I would wirk on your cutting and editing skills for thise that have shorter attention spans, but absolutely great video. Im a single dad of 2 (that i raise on my own), a 15 yr Navy veteran, 49, and an IT at a hospital. Researching ways i can enter health care to do what i see ithers doing every day. So proud to help healthcare workers so i figured why not become one 😊 This was great information. And apparently the TH-cam algorithm agrees. Keep it up. I just subscribed, decided to wTch all your videos and cant wait for the next. This might be my in to being a healthcare worker. Good luck to you in the meantime and thanks again for the video! ❤
Thank you for sharing your journey! Did you need the whole 2 hours to finish the exam or did you finish sooner? I’m in the process of applying. I’m kinda nervous but your videos have been a huge help! Keep up the great work
Thank you so much for these step-by-step updates! From other WGU students, I’ve seen that they have Facebook groups for some of the courses, Patho being one, where they share notes and tips for the course.
So when you register for the classes do you register for all of them at once and then work one class at a time ? Just curious I also have to take 8 classes for my first term which is the critical thinking and all rhose
Since you’ve started have you heard when you would have to go to lab? The lab site I would have to go to is 3hrs away so I’m trying to plan accordingly before I apply to get a heads up to when would be best to start since I have kids. Did they mention is it like after so many months or after you reached certain classes?
So far for my schedule as long as I’m doing my pre-nursing classes, I don’t have any labs. Once I knock out these last few classes then I will have labs but they will give you a well advanced heads up on the dates of those labs. It may be about two to three months into the term that you start where you actually have labs.
@@GrowWithZenaib the only part I really brushed up on was the basic algebra and conversions. I watched Math with Mr. J here on TH-cam and that made a world of difference.
Can I ask you how many credits do you have in total to go through in WGU, I have 105 and I wonder how fast realistically I can do the program if I accelerate the classes that I can accelarate
I haven’t started that class yet and even the way they explain it doesn’t help me understand what type of class that is Lol but I heard it’s pretty easy
Hi! I have a question, what is the estimated time to compete from start to finish? I know I’ve heard other people say about 6mo. I know it’s based on how quick each person gets through it but just curious! Also what is the requirements to get accepted based on GPA?😊
@@FutureRNBrittany thank you for the quick response! I think your right. It was the Rn to BSN one 🤦♀️ Do you know when they start you on clinicals? I’m on FL and am trying to see if it’s feasible only because where they would have clinicals for my location is about six hours away from my home 😅
I wouldn’t say they’re set up like Straighterline. Because some of the Courses do require you to take your time. You do have to pass the practice assessment to be able to take the objective assessment. And if you do not pass the objective assessment, they do give you the chance to retake the exam, but you do have to go through remediation. Where you basically have to work one on one with someone before you can take the objective assessment again.
I transferred in 15 credits between my community college and a previous nursing school I was at and microbiology was one of the classes that transferred in for me
I was going to ask the same question, I got a hesi a2 assessment study guide from my library. Any tips or feedback would be good 😊 glad your doing good so far Brittany
Congrats on passing your exam! I start wgu pre licensure program may 1st. Do you mind sharing the Amazon link to your webcam stand( the stand you liked better) and the webcam too? Please
For me one week but this course is suggested for one month. You do have to be confident before taking the OA because if you fail you will be required to remediate for 2 weeks.
Congrats on passing your exam !!! Thank You for letting us walk your journey with You !!! I hope to start the program this Fall.
thank you!

Same here, brother. I just hit 15 years and am still in. I want to pursue Nursing when I retire.
You're the best! Thank you so much! It's insanely hard to find people's experiences from the prelicensure program.

Are we required to buy the webcam to take the HESI? Or is it just once we start the actual program ?
Webcam is only required once you start the program, not for the HESI exam

What is the integrated physical sciences class about? It's such a broad name.

It's a science class, chemistry, physics or biology is equivalent to it if you are transferring credit you may want to take one of those
How did you pass the Hesi 2 exam? Any recommendations for me. Thank you

Why is a web cam needed?
To take your final exams
Do you think the test are lined up with what you study?
For Critical Thinking, yes!
You are amazing!!
Does it have to be this camera
