You didn't forget how much you love this show - you just tucked it away, right behind you, waiting for when you wanted it, needed it, again. Fantastic TV series. I keep coming back because there is some sense of purity, some sweetness to it. Plus, Yvonne is breathtaking. 💔
It was hinted even by the end of first season that Cassey cared about Chuck. When Beckman orders Cassey to kill Chuck, you can see that he tries to prolong it as much as possible and by his body language you can see that he has hard time carrying out order. He seems to be relieved when news of Intersect got destroyed and they call off Chuck's execution. It's those small moments (usually silent) that made Chuck great and characters so likable. Later on, he seems to really care for both Chuck and Sarah, even tho he rarely openly says it, but several of his actions tells that he deeply cares for them.
I don’t know bro. I thought that he looked about ready to kill him! It’s that moment that Casey is relieved that Chuck is still alive so that Casey can kill him himself for scaring him like that.

I know it may sound hyperbolic to say this but I'm honestly inclined to say that the way Yvonne portrayed her reactions in this scene, to the car exploding, to her trying to comprehend Chuck having been killed in the explosion, and then seeing him alive, is some of the absolute best acting I've ever seen. This main trio of actors is _remarkable_ , and incredibly underrated.
Chuck casting needs to be given credit for selecting Yvonne Strahovski. We all know how amazing she is now but, back then, she was just a gorgeous young actor with only a couple of credits. If everyone knew what a great actor she was back in the day, Chuck probably couldn't have afforded her. lol!
Her best performance is in Chuck Versus Phase Three. The scene where Sarah discusses Chuck's proposal plans with Morgan is HEARTBREAKING. And then when she threatens the Thai dude and tells Casey "I'm different without Chuck, and I don't like it," is absolutely TERRIFYING
And this right here is what made this series so epic. Yes, they had great wordplay. Yes, they had great dialog. Yes, they had great action scenes, and yes, of course, Yvonne dressed incredibly well. But what made the series was the character progression, and they ALWAYS did such a phenomenal job with the non verbal things like this, that really drove home the emotions of the characters. Some of the absolute best Chuck moments had no words. Just expressions, reactions, and a crapton of non-verbal emotion... Really, really miss this show...
Adam Baldwin was perfect for the role of Casey. He did look like he couldn't believe Chuck might be dead and the relief on his face said it very clearly: even though they have their arguments throughout the series, he cares about Chuck and wouldn't want anything bad to happen to him.

What they did to keep the "will they/won't they" trope in the first half of S3 was to kill both Sarah's and Chuck's characters, especially Sarah's, who is so concerned that spy training will change the man she loves that she actually hooks up with the very guy (Shaw) who's pushing those changes in the first place.

Yvonne Jacqueline Strahovski is a truly superb actress who found a brilliant chemistry match with Zachary Levi in Chuck. The result is the best TV series of the 21st Century to date IMO. And it made both their acting careers. Kaboom 💥💥💥💥💥
The way Casey says the word 'bomb' when he said 'Heroic imbecile took of with the bomb' is some of the best acting I've ever seen. The way his tone dropped on bomb was like he was fighting back emotions.
What most people dont see that even Casey was shocked and sad when he saw the explosion and happy and relieved when he saw Chuck alive, you can see his face expression when he snatches the remote control from Chuck..

Chuck Is The Greatest ActionComedy Series I've Ever Watch In My Life , I Grew Up Watching It From season 1 - season 5 , all the characters/casts are the best , they manage to make us feel the emotions/comedy/romances in it. I still can't accept the fact that the show has ends. The Finale/Ending was alright, I dont like it but nor do I hate it, its just I really wanted to see Chuck and Sarah be together again/do what they wanna do together/plans/their dreams Etc. they have gone through so much to deserve a super happy ending and not to have us the fans guess/imagine what happen after the ending. Really wish the show ends with them succesfully build their own normal happy family living in sarah's simple dream house. But Still , Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak did a really good job , I'm going to miss "CHUCK"
+danny yapp i wasnt a big fan of the last season so far simply because they took the intersect from chuck, i would've liked if he learned to really control it like really well, where he could flash when he wanted to and maybe even flash multiple different fighting styles at once etc. i still have the last few episodes to watch, i know whats gonna happen in big steps but i almost cant make my self watch the last few episodes :d
Seriously?? I think the show is total junk. It has a few decent episodes every now and then, but mostly the show is barely watchable. Even Adam Baldwin can't change that. I was silly enough to buy all 5 seasons on DVD after watching a few TH-cam videos, so I'm going to watch it anyway, but after 2 seasons and 2 episodes, my verdict so far is that this show is pretty lousy. Shows like Castle and Firefly are VASTLY superior to this rubbish.

I guess there's the occasional substandard episode and a cringe-worthy scene every now and then, but by and large it's definitely a very enjoyable show, not least because of the excellent chemistry the cast has. Kristian, I saw all of the episodes and when Casey couldn't even fire at the paper Chuck target, it said something: he didn't want anything bad to happen to him. Baldwin was great for this character. I don't think anyone else would have been able to show the shock and relief he expressed in this scene. Contrary to what some think, he is NOT related to the Baldwins (Alec, William, Stephen). One of them said that's impossible because there are only three of them.
I live in a remote little town in Sicily. It was like 10 years ago when i discovered this awesome tv show. It was, and still is, my favorite tv show of all time. Anyway, one day i walk into a bar with some friends, and i spot this beautiful blonde girl that was talking with a group of people i know (we know each other in my small town). When i realized she was Yvonne, i couldn't beleave it, i was in shock. We all spent the next 10 minutes with her and her friends, and the funny thing (othe than the fact that none of us could speak english) was no one in that bar even knew who she was, so when i said them about she being an actress, everyone started to take photos with her and asked for autographs. I was the only one who walked out of that bar without any of that, as i felt like not wanting to bother her while she was on vacation. It was enough for me having met her in person. To this day i still can't beleave it, it was such an impossible coincidence for me.
This may be my favorite scene from the series. I hated the ending...and a lot of people were really confused by it, but...the actual show is god tier, right up until the ending.

The only show I can think of that had a worse finale - was How I Met Your Mother. What would you have changed for the finale? I'd have had Sarah remember everything, and have it play in reverse order that it happened. Have her remember in reverse. Compilation of them together in the finale season, working backwards until you get to the first season. The final scene of the compilation would be them kissing for the first time when they thought the bomb was going to go off, but it turned out to be a container containing Bryce Larkin. Then fade to black. Roll credits while Jeffster sings in the background.

I really would love to see them get back together in a #Chuck movie or if not Chuck in something on the big screen than would put them back together to see if that brilliant on screen chemistry is still there. I for one would bet that it is. After all, Chuck was the breakout role for both and I’m guessing that another series or movie featuring them both would further boost their already stellar acting careers.
Honestly I feel like if anything just one movie or season to give the show the ending it deserves would be enough. Of course I would love 5 more seasons but these actors have become major especially Yvonne and Zach so I don’t believe that to be feasible at all. I think a movie to wrap things up properly would be amazing and also improve the rewatch experience since the end of season 5 is a tough and frustrating watch.
I love how Chuck appeals to Casey's inner warrior with the 'semper fi' comment. I wouldn't trust Casey not to pull over and stop the car because 'orders are to protect the intersect' and he's the real deal army man that bleeds red white and blue. As soon as Chuck said 'Semper Fi' and Casey said it back, you knew that he was going to help Chuck, because now the mission changed from 'protect intersect' to 'protect brother in arms' (Saving Morgan).
CReaper210 If you actually watched the finale and heard what Chuck said about one kiss re-jogging her memory, you'd actually know that he's right about it happening. The general consensus among people who actually watched the show is that she did in fact get her memory back. Apparently you didn't pay attention.
Cody Lynch At no point in the show did I ever see magic. The show was left open ended and the point was to make your own "true" ending, but the evidence for what would actually happen doesn't point to where you think it does.

I wish they had more Chuck I n danger/really hurt and sarah and Casey reacting and rushing to get him. Like if he was kidnapped and hurt for days and sarah finds him thinking its too late and he survives last second but really hurt and she just holds him. Not enough of that in the show but besides that perfect
After like 10 playthroughs of Mass Effect and watching the most recent season of Dexter, it's really hard to go back to Yvonne using a fake American accent. It just seems so unnatural now!

Chuck Sarah Casey & Morgans character progression throughout the series was outstanding until the 3 episodes we have collectively decided to ignore.

I really would love to see them get back together in a #Chuck movie or if not Chuck in something on the big screen than would put them back together to see if that brilliant on screen chemistry is still there. I for one would bet that it is. After all, Chuck was the breakout role for both and I’m guessing that another series or movie featuring them both would further boost their already stellar acting careers.
Honestly I feel like if anything just one movie or season to give the show the ending it deserves would be enough. Of course I would love 5 more seasons but these actors have become major especially Yvonne and Zach so I don’t believe that to be feasible at all. I think a movie to wrap things up properly would be amazing and also improve the rewatch experience since the end of season 5 is a tough and frustrating watch.

I wouldn't trust Casey not to pull over and stop the car because 'orders are to protect the intersect' and he's the real deal army man that bleeds red white and blue. As soon as Chuck said 'Semper Fi' and Casey said it back, you knew that he was going to help Chuck, because now the mission changed from 'protect intersect' to 'protect brother in arms' (Saving Morgan).
this was the best spy love story second to only Burn Notice

The show was left open ended and the point was to make your own "true" ending, but the evidence for what would actually happen doesn't point to where you think it does.
Umar Mirza Chuck Is The Greatest ActionComedy Series I've Ever Watch In My Life , I Grew Up Watching It From season 1 - season 5 , all the characters/casts are the best , they manage to make us feel the emotions/comedy/romances in it. I still can't accept the fact that the show has ends.
The Finale/Ending was alright, I dont like it but nor do I hate it, its just I really wanted to see Chuck and Sarah be together again/do what they wanna do together/plans/their dreams Etc. they have gone through so much to deserve a super happy ending and not to have us the fans guess/imagine what happen after the ending. Really wish the show ends with them succesfully build their own normal happy family living in sarah's simple dream house. But Still , Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak did a really good job , I'm going to miss "CHUCK"

Like if he was kidnapped and hurt for days and sarah finds him thinking its too late and he survives last second but really hurt and she just holds him. Not enough of that in the show but besides that perfect
