i got the leapfrog my own storytime leap pad read description

I bought this toy new in box from Amazon and when I opened the toy the battery compartment was rusty and corroded and covered with and bits of dirt inside the covering of the screen and someone left it on i don't know if Amazon stupidly left it on while it shipped or while leap enterprises made the toy to put it in the box to give to Amazon I think must have had their hands covered in dirt from being outside and didn't wash their hands and like I said this toy was brand new in the box and from Amazon but I had an idea I replaced it with my AARP flashlight battery metal things and then took the rusty and dirty battery metal things out and put it in there and voila it worked it's just like the guy who's popular for fixing Thomas toys and making customs
