- Jurassic World The Ride has officially reopened after its long refurbishment in 2023. The ride doesn’t feature any new effects, but it does have some slight lighting differences.

Nice to see little changes after a refurb. New signage different screen setup on the lift hill, different lighting. Pleasantly surprised. You usually don’t notice any changes after a Jurassic refurb (except for the time they made the water geysers into volcanos with painted lava)

i like how Rexy is quote floating in midair and just pops up in the finale whereas in JP it was a countdown to encounter effect with the waterfall effect which was really epic
Disappointed that they still haven’t fixed the indominous rex
if your talking abt the part before the lift hill, it looks fine the timing is just off
I think means that if you look at the right side of the Indominus, she has a visible rip near her neck and shoulder.

Really wish they would've done a matterhorn effect on the left side of the lift hill. Like an animation/effect of the indominus going up the hill as the boat is going up.

@@sideeswipeno, the yeti from the matterhorn at disneyland, as u go up the hill, the yeti is seen climbing up the side with u as he growls, it’s pretty cool

How intense is the drop? Going to USH next month and I'm trying to work my way up with rides with big drops and rollercoasters.

If you haven’t gone, it’s pretty large. If you’re afraid of rides like me I don’t recommend it because I had a panic attack 😭

Ha! I knew that Jurassic World Ride Attraction is finally open!
rode it this weekend, lighting was down (almost pitch dark) and the most of the indominus animatronics were either too dark too see or not moving at all. Hopefully just an intermittent issue because it took away from the experience.
I do like the Jurassic World ride. ❤😊🦖🦕 Also I am looking forward to watch an Jurassic Marathon in June soon.

Jurassic World The Ride
Just returned from a trip to Universal Studios. We had a blast. However, the Jurassic Park ride shut down on us at the top. We sat there for about 10-15 minutes, then we did get the big drop, but none of the special effects, like T-Rex. 😕 Then we had to do an emergency disembark ing, which required climbing over several rows of seats, and using an emergency bridge. The car behind us had to be walked down from the top, so it could always be worse. The ride was shut down for the rest of the day.
