Smartphones are becoming an accessory used for fashion reasons these days. I mean, Honda, Toyota, Ford, Mercedes have some similar looking cars, nobody cares. Xbox and PS have comparable features and functions, nobody bats an eye. But when a phone looks somewhat similar to another phone has some somewhat similar functions, everybody loses their mind. Phone now has become a fashion statement. Like a watch, handbags or clothes. That, if you don't manage to have a unique design, you're a copying the one that got to the market first. To the point that people would criticize others for having similar looking but the cheaper phone. I mean, before the smartphone eras, pretty all phones look more or less the same, either small bar shape or flip phones nobody really cares what other people's phone look like. I guess my point is, you should instead buy a cheap phone that suits your needs rather than spending a huge amount just to show off, just like you wouldn't spend $300 for a pair of shoes when a $20 pair would do pretty much the same job. My last 2 phones are all budget phones around $200 mark, and they feel as good as any.
Agreed. There is an exception tho. Samsung's Note series have no other budget/flagship alternatives. You simply can't get a good enough budget phone with a retractable stylus. I'm all set on buying one but the fking cost the most.
LG does have phone with stylus. Though the stylus experience on any phone is not that great either, you can't really do much with it that you can't already do with a normal phone. Instead, get a budget phone and spend the rest on a tablet that has stylus support. For the price difference between a note 8 and a $200 phone, you can even get yourself a refurb surface.

Because they're as good or better than the iPhone and cost much less. I agree copying the design from Apple is stupid, but if you pay more attention, you'll see most Android devices try to copy the iPhone.

Try right clicking on the preview and selecting 'View Image'. It works most of the time.

Well, It will open the full image If you wait for the image to finish loading before viewing it.
Bing often works better anyway. Plus they pay you to use it.
