    Just to give you heads up, Margarine is not better than butter! It is made out of Vegetable oils and contains the same level of saturated fat as butter. It is considered a substitute for butter in the baking business, as it is cheaper and maintenance free.

    • @gulatifamilyincanada318
      @gulatifamilyincanada318  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you so much for watching. Yes you are absolutely correct, margerine is ideal for baking but just because it stays soft we like to use it as butter and its cheaper too.

    You can use your Mastercard at costco. Literally any Mastercard. Also return policy has a lot if exceptions.

    • @gulatifamilyincanada318
      @gulatifamilyincanada318  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for watching our video. The reason i did not mention mastercard is because Costco officially only accepts cash, debit and costco credit card (capital one) which happens to be a mastercard. However few years ago costco had a deal with American express, that time they only accepted that. So if I mention mastercard and later they decide to change their partnership with any visa or another company then the information in the video will no longer be valid. So by mentioning only cash and debit I was being very generic and thinking long term. But I really appreciate your input on this. Thank you so much

    • @aradhanaverma3020
      @aradhanaverma3020 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We do use our PC Mastercard. Never had any problem. You can use any MasterCard in Costco.

    • @gulatifamilyincanada318
      @gulatifamilyincanada318  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much for watching this video. Yes, you can the only reason i did not mention in the video is officially they only accept credit card they have ties with, as of now that is mastercard. Many years ago they had ties with american express so only that worked there. In future if they break their ties with capital one (mastercard) and setup with visa, the mastercard will stop working. Thanks for your feedback and really appreciate your support.

    Just to correct you return policy of Costco is not lifetime for electronics on electronics its 90 days and lifetime return/exchange is valid for only Kirkland brand. Other brands you have to consult manufacturer terms and conditions. Due to covid costco have changed the return policy for tissue paper and other daily stuff.

    • @gulatifamilyincanada318
      @gulatifamilyincanada318  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you so much for watching. As of now there is no return at all on toilet roll, or lysol wipes. However in an ideal (non covid) situation they are so flexible in returns that we personally have returned stuff (including electronics) after an year when it quit working. You will be amazed to know that once my colleague bought a 'safe' (non kirkland brand) from there 10 years ago, and it broke when he went in the store to buy new one they gave him the new one for free. May be Costco here in Saskatoon is really nice and generous than other places LOL. Thanks for your comment my friend. Please share to support.

    We have a few question. Where did you live before Saskatoon? Our guess is somewhere in India or Pakistan? Did your homeland have winter like Saskatoon? You seem to have adapted well! Maybe you should do a few cooking classes for us locals! We have lived in and around Saskatoon our whole lives but became addicted to Indian food in Thailand and Malaysia while on winter escapes. We love Indian food and have a few recipes perfected. How do you make your Naan bread? Buy the pre-made stuff? We heat our pre-made Naan up on the bbq and then add butter. We buy supplies a Savour Supermarket near 8th and we’re surprised how many ethnic foods there are at Walmart. Our biggest problem is we don’t know what some of the stuff is. We did take notes on the best basmati rice 👍.

      Please refer to our video on Monthly expenses. The cost of food totally depends on your eating habits, but it will range from $200 to $300 a month.

      @@gulatifamilyincanada318 i watched that video but aftr watching this video i dnt thnk 200-300 would be enough.. Because ur walmart n costco bill are weekly

    • @gulatifamilyincanada318
      @gulatifamilyincanada318  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      See I would say your grocery bill is totally dependent on your eating habits. We visit costco twice a month and spend about $200-300 just there, and walmart is twice a month too for $150. I would say do not compare with us because we buy in bulk.
