Welcome to Canada 🇨🇦
thanks its been almost 13 years now
For the kinda weather its in Canada, AWD are better I guess. Entry level and value for money seems to be Mazda 3 Turbo. And if you want little premium, and easy on pockets, then Audi. Correct me if I am wrong.
AWD is the way to go for sure, specially for SK where snow stays on ground longer. I am not a fan of sedans, just because they are too low and you can feel the drift on snow. But my van is Front wheel drive and because its higher from the ground i do not face much issues. Mazda 3, is a great entry level car. I don't like premium brands so can't say anything about Audi.
Tata cars should be introduced too specially tata Indica most popular
Thanks for speaking in English
Beautiful work like always nd mere kol v kia hai
What a timing Gulati ji, I am thinking of buying a new car and in dilemma of buying a new or pre-owned one. Being a newcomer in the country this will be my first car. So I have kind off made my mind to buy new coz I need something reliable and preowned reliable vehicles are not cheap. And you know as a newcomer I don't want to spend my settlement fund on a depreciating asset. But pre-owned interest rates are high and new car interest rates are very attractive. I am thinking of leasing it as I think I will save more and by the end of my term I can decide to keep it or buy another one as per my requirement at that time.
Thinking of 2021 Seltos EX Premium which is for around 32,629 and will be 431.57 monthly on lease, with additional insurance and gas this will be in my monthly budget (fortunately I got a job).
So eagerly waiting for your next video coz I want to know why should I buy AWD. I have a friend who says All season tyres and 2WD is good enough in snow too just need to drive slow and with a white collar job we can work from home too when required. So giving this a thought too.
PS. Based in Brampton, ON.
Looking forward for your thoughts on this.
Hello and thank you for your message. Your friend is absolutely correct in saying, that you don't need winter tires and just drive slow with all seasons. But my opinion on AWD differs, if you are anyways going to spend close to $35k why not buy a AWD. I see that you are looking in entry level SUV category. Do consider the following:
Kia Sportage
Nissa Rogue
Mazda cx 3
Hyndai Tuscon
Compare prices, warranty and features and make the decision. Do not hesitate to tell the dealership that you are going to look for all these vehicles that way they will be working hard to give you a better deal. Also do not finalize at the first meeting, tell them you need time to think. Keep them guessing and then also say i would want to see similar SUV's with different brands. Do consider AWD if not much price difference. We explain more in our next video. Thanks for watching.
Also about leasing, make sure to check the terms and what all is required to be paid at the end of the term to keep it. Number of kms allowed etc. I don't like leasing, compare the cost and interest in financing and leasing and then decide.
@@gulatifamilyincanada318 yup, new to all this. Will go through the terms. Just finished quarantine so will start going out to dealerships. This stay at home order is a problem for me right now.
Winter tires are must if you driving around in Brampton ... going slow doesn’t help
Think about increase in insurance rates in case of any mishap ...
If you are a new comer and haven’t driven in snow and winter weather conditions.... Brampton has one of the highest insurance rates...

Sirji.. Does Indian Driving License has any value there or helps in skipping any levels of Canadian Driving License (like Learner's license of India) ?

Don't buy bigger vehicle now. Because carbon tax is increasing every year and gas is going to be more and more expensive. Big vehicle will cost you more for gas.
True, 4 cylinder engine should be more economical.
thank you for all these videos. can you share your personal email. want to ask few things. thanks ji....
