- This brand new Bombardier Global 7500 is seen flying a visual circling approach into Bern Airport in Switzerland. The crew has to preform a go-around manoeuvre due to sudden wind gusts. After a 2nd landing attempt the Global 7500 is arriving safely at Bern. The private jet operator Albinati Aeronautics is very proud to have taken delivery of its first Global 7500 which carries the Swiss registration HB-JIT.
The Global 7500 is definitely a new class of business jet. Featuring four true living spaces, a full size kitchen and crew suite as well as the smoothest ride, the Global 7500 jet is uniquely engineered to maximize productivity and comfort on long distance flights. The Global 7500 can reach a range of 7,700 miles / 14,260 km. The new GE Passport engines powering the jet to a remarkable speed of Mach 0.925 / 982 km/h.

Thank you so much Maxwell! Much appreciate your kind words! That is really nice. The first approach was preformed too high I think, in addition there were gusts of wind. On 2nd approach the circling to runway 32 was much lower followed by a safe landing. It was great to see this brand new flagship of Albinati.

Matt my good friend, great video, great camera angle for this jet banking in on final approach for landing. I really like the livery & I think you caught a dasault with a very similar livery, especially in the colors, a little while while back, was a very nice soft touchdown on this jet. I always say it & you are probably tired of hearing it, but these jets have a very similar wing span comparable to those on the gulfstreams, they are awesome. God bless you & D from T & I

Thanks! Good question. If I get the incredible chance to fly with one of them, I would enthusiastically accept it. So it is really a hard decision. Both jets are absolutely amazing.

I suppose the first approach was a good example of an unstabilized approach - good decision to interrupt the approach and perform a go-around
Yes I think that is true. The 1st approach was too high and gusts of wind came up - as far as I have observed it.
I didn't see gusting wind but I did see that they didn't have their landing gear lowered on the first approach which was corrected on the second approach.
Thanks for watching. The landing gear was lowered on 1st and 2nd approach. But the 1st approach was a bit too high and wind freshened up.
I watched again and you're correct. I didn't check the landing gear until after it was retracted for the go around.

phew, must suck to suddenly lose lift over the threshold after a nice stable final approach ... brutal flap angle on that bird as well
What was the winds at the Airport?
Wind was around 6-9 knots.
It hath that lean and hungry look
What was happening to the engine at 2:18? I don't know much about jets.
If I recall correctly, these are called thrust reversers and pretty much do what they're called
Basically they reverse the direction of the exhaust and bypass air normally coming out the back of the engine in order to help decelerate the plane after landing or while taxiing on the ground
