Bombardier Aerospace Global 7500 Arriving and Departing Calgary Airport

- The Bombardier Global 7500 is a new ultra-long-range business jet developed by Canada's Bombardier Aerospace, has recently completed flight testing and is now awaiting certification. It's capable of transporting 19 people over 14,000km (according to Bombardier) with a top cruising speed of Mach 0.925. Prior to certification, much like the CSeries a few years prior, it's been on some route proving flights, including this stop in Calgary! It came from Ottawa and departed an hour later for Vancouver, making this the first ever visit of a Global 7500 in Calgary! It's also my first time seeing this new business jet, and what a gorgeous aircraft it is! ATC is included, hope you enjoy this brand new bird in action!

I just started an apprenticeship program with Bombardier to be trained to build the wings of this beautiful jet! The first week has been great and has challenged my brain. Im hoping to make it past the 6 months of in class and hands on training and become an asset to the company. We'll see how it goes!

+naughty Maybe. The thing with these planes is that the size makes them uglier. Smaller planes look way better....but are worse in every other aspect.
@@Kronos0999 yes, fully agreed, in some paint schemes phenom 100 looks like an amazingly beautiful toy, that can take you to clouds but performance wise it leaves much to be desired and noise level inside is high, falcon on the other hand was nearly silent inside.

I own a Bombardier , it’s called a Sea Doo .. awesome product !!
That's actually a separate company now called Bombardier Recreational Products. It was sold by Bombardier Inc. (the aircraft manufacturer) in 2003.
Seadoos are not reliable jet skis bad quality I used to own 1996 XP I bought it new and sold it 2 years later i hope those planes are not the same😂

I don't agree 100%, I am convinced this kind of private jet, it's a huge "tool", that allows you to close much more deals worldwide, increasing your productivity and raising your own business up to the sky (literally). Of course, you can combine traveling with your family/friends and enjoy your freedom.

En fait, le Global 7500 est assemblé à Toronto. Les ailes sont fabriquées au Texas et le fuselage arrière est fabriqué au Mexique. Au dernières nouvelles, seuls les Challenger sont encore fabriqués à Montréal.

What a fantasic bird this Global 7500 is. At present, this is the flagship of executive jets. Range 7700 nm.

Something very interesting for me about the Global 7500 is about i see that he has the APU in the point of the tail , between two engines , something that's is a great different of the old aircraft with T tail like the Boeing B-727 and the Soviet aircraft Tupolev Tu-154 that had this engine in the belly in the center between the two wing .
I seen about including has the enter of the APU on a up corner , together to #two engine .

So here is a dumb question, why is the aircraft with the longest range in the private jet biz stopping in Calgary if the destination was Vancouver? Was this part of test flights for certification or something?
